Nice and quiet getaway
The location is ideal for a quiet and serene getaway. It is remote enough that there is peace but still close enough to the store and restaurants. The place is clean and well stocked with plates, silverware, Keurig, etc. The host will reply to your messages very quickly, and the check-in and check-out are very simple. I highly recommend this cabin for a short getaway.

Perfect for the price
Beautiful little house in the country. Was very happy to see there were plenty of bath towels and some the little things that travelers sometimes forget. Couch was super comfy!! Be prepared for a teeny tiny shower (my husband is 6'4" so we had a good laugh), but other than that, it was great. We'll book again.

Great place to stay
This is our second time to stay in this cute Lake Cabin and enjoyed both stays. It's very clean and well stocked with everything you need for a comfortable stay. You have great views of the lake on the shaded back porch, clean BBQ grills to use, gas and charcoal, and they even provided the charcoal and starter fluid. The lake was pretty low so we didn't get to fish but still had a relaxing time. The TV is huge with lots of streaming options available. We didn't see Socks this time, hope he's okay. We will be back again.

Very clean and quiet. Well stocked and comfortable. Nice view of the lake and big back yard. Living room got a little hot during the day, could use a big fan or ceiling fan. Outside needs some love, a little run down. I would love to stay again when the lake has more water. Overall, a nice stay.

Seclusion & Fishing, It Was Great!
This property is great for 2 people. Kitchen was outstanding - appliances new & worked great. Everything we needed was available. Roomier inside than I expected, but that shower is a bit of a pain, not because its an RV style but because it really needs another wall - one whole side is shower curtain. And bedroom is tight with very little room for suitcases. But bed was VERY comfortable. However, even with those minor inconveniences it was a good place to stay. Trashy neighbors across the street, but we didn't spend much time out front & neighborhood on our side was just fine. Great little fishing dock - a good addition would be some lights down at water level for nighttime fishing. Beautiful how the lights came on automatically at night across the picnic table & on the top of the dock. All in all we enjoyed the location & the house & property . This is truly in the country, you're on the lake but just 10 miles from town. We would definitely stay here again!

It was a very pleasant stay for my girlfriend and I. The house had everything we needed and was clean. The property was very nice and made to hold a get together with a bigger group. They thought of everything even charcoal and lighter fluid! I would recommend a bigger AC unit though. The two units in the kitchen were not strong enough to cool the living room. Other than that, great stay.

GREAT FOR WHAT IT IS
First off the place was exactly what I expected, our stay was great we had went for a Highschool fishing tournament, wanted a place on the water and wanted to be close to spillway boat ramp. So the place was that. THE GOOD place has everything needed to stay, internet-but spotty at times , shower, tv- huge TVs, beds. Its cozy little and really cool that its next water, clean, towels smelled awesome . THE BAD noisy- neighbors playing loud music all through the night and day both nights and both days- he liked to drag race to his camper on the hill, revving trucks up at all hours of the night 2am, no AC and if it had it, we never found the thermostat. It got a little warm the 2nd night but we opened the back door and let the lake air fill the house with the breeze. The shower is very small, let me say it again very small, if you are 250lbs or bigger you will not fit in the shower. This place is all about your expectations of where you are going. Me and my family was going to a lake cabin and that's what we found, If you are redneck this place is for you if you are expecting 5 star hotel like accommodations you may want to look else were. We would stay again even with all the loud neighbors and chained up dogs barking all day and night, again expectations, something else to note if you have a boat its a little tricky to park next to house and didn't feel safe leaving it by road, but if you have a little skill you can get it next to the house and out of sight. All in all Not a bad spot for a weekend cabin on the lake the back yard is amazing for relaxing and watching all the ducks run around.

This little cabin had it all. Technology if ya needed it (wifi, tv's) and a beautiful view and waterfront lake cove access with dock. Plenty of wildlife around as well, great getaway.

Gem on the Lake
We stayed over the Christmas holiday and loved waking up to the fog over the lake. True, the weather was unseasonably warm, but we were able to enjoy coffee in our shirt sleeves at the picnic table. The owner was prompt with her response and we enjoyed our stay.!

Had a great weekend
Was our 2nd time staying and noticed a few changes. The steps leading onto the dock were much better and they have a full outdoor cooking area now (nice bonus). The house was just as clean as the 1st time and has a nice huge TV in the living room, they also had it warm for our arrival. Only complaints we have are: the shower is too small and the bed is too big for the room however we decided to sleep on the couch and they are very comfy. We knew all of this from the 1st time we rented and decided all the good out weighed that!!

Relaxing Lake Retreat
We had everything we needed at the cabin. Was a great way to relax and watch the world go by. We didn't go fishing but there were a lot of fish jumping :) and other people fishing/jet skiing...so if you like to fish this was a great property for that. Shower is small but we stay at a lot of home-a-ways so it wasn't a big deal for us, but maybe for some individuals. We would rather have a small shower than just a bathtub. My husband and I went hiking at Lake Brownwood State Park which is about 20 minutes from the cabin. Great place to spend the morning. Afterwards, we stayed under the shaded yard for several hours just relaxing and watching the birds and of course the lake. We enjoyed coffee in the mornings as well. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to stay there agin!

Relaxing Retreat
Nice lake view and dock. Enjoyed the fire pit, the giant pick ic table and the corn hole hame! Good redo of a very old cabin and wonderful views of the lake and nature all around. Nice kitchen and well stocked. Bedroom was extremely small and bed was too tall for me to get in so had to sleep on couch. Thank goodness the couches were very comfortable and the Big screen TV was great! Shower was also too small to be useful. Neighborhood around the cabin was dilapidated and a bit scary.

Nice place to relax and enjoy the lake.
We had an amazing time. The house was clean and met all of our needs. We brought our boat and was able to tie up to the boat dock. Easy access to lake. Just walk out back door and down to the dock. TV’s were huge and couch and bed was very comfortable. There was a small coffee bar with an assortment of coffees. Lovely touches. Host was very responsive to any questions we may have had. We will definitely be back again.

Great Get-Away
This place is exactly what was advertised and what we were looking for. If you're looking for a place that's pet friendly, doesn't cost you a fortune, sits right on the lake and very quiet, then this is a place you should consider. The cottage is right on the lake. The backyard offers amazing views and sitting areas. Outside of sleeping in the house, we stayed outside in the backyard or on the boat dock all days, including grilling and eating. There was no one around and it was very quiet. Our dog played in the water and was completely free. We will definitely be coming back. This place isn't priced and advertised as a 5 star resort and it shouldn't be expected. It's clean and it contains everything you need, except for food, to have a great get-away.

Best Rental on the lake!
I love this this little slice of paradise! It has all the amenities, and waterfront access. What I like is the feel of the backyard, private but spacious and with very little traffic, it feels like the outside world disappears and you can soak up the lakeside breeze and bird calls. The cabin is equally welcoming ,like a hug, with a comfy couch and kitchen stocked with utensils and coffee needs. We got groceries from Big G's grocery store and ate our meals at the dining room table which overlooks the water. We stayed here in 2019 and liked it so much we moved to the Lake Brownwood. This property is the reason we fell in love with lake life ❤

Was a cute little cottage, but felt like all the items were random and from garage sales. Bedroom was way to small, could barely get around the bed and the shower was the size of an RV shower (if that big). It has nice scenery and the fishing dock was decent. The neighborhood coming to the cottage was pretty dumpy in places. All in all we enjoyed the stay and the cottage was very clean.

'On the lake' fully loaded cabin
The check in process was very easy and smooth. All instructions you need are already emailed with directions and closest stores for supplies. The photos don't do it justice, we felt cabin was nicer than was in the ad. Full kitchen to cook with everything, even spices. Great seating couches for a lazy weekend with a huge tv and if you don't want to get out of bed, there is a huge tv there too for all the binge watching you will need. Nice windows to view the lake when not outside and a firepit between the house and lake for when you are, with plenty of seating on the huge picnic table. Grill provided but couldn't use since was so windy when there, we cooked inside. Overall a great stay but I will say the shower is a tight squeeze, not much room at all. RV size shower, not good if you are on the bigger size. It was very windy and rainy on the weekend we stayed and was great to veg and do nothing but could have used a ceiling fan or stand up fan just to circulate air in the house. Breeze outside was not really blowing inside to well. Did see the the ac unit but was not hot enough to warrant it, a fan would have worked fine. Bed was uncomfortable to me since it was too firm for me but I prefer a softer bed. My partner thought it was fine and comfy for him. A great quiet stay with all you should need.

Perfect little getaway!
My husband and I had a wonderful time celebrating NYE/NY together at the lake house. It was super cute, super clean, and super comfy. Included everything you could need. The view was beautiful. The dock was great for fishing. The gas grill was an added bonus. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. The weather was quite cold (snowed our first night) and the heaters there were more than adequate to heat the cabin. Look forward to future weekend getaways at the property.

Nice little cabin with a lake front view and nice large backyard with a dock for fishing! We were able to cook a thanksgiving dinner and enjoy a nice fire. The couch is very comfortable for lounging around and the bed is comfortable. This was our second stay and we will probably stay again one day!
