"One of the most accommodating hotels I’ve ever stayed in! Ian (the owner I believe) went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable on our first trip away with our baby. All the staff in the hotel couldn’t have done enough for us to make our stay comfortable. The apartment was brilliant and spacious, easily accessed from the car park for a stroller. The breakfast was lovely too. I’ll definitely be back!"

"Our stay at Lyrath Estate was a memorable experience, and one of the biggest highlights was undoubtedly the incredible hotel breakfast. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the beauty of the property and how well everything was maintained. The estate has a wonderful atmosphere, combining elegance, charm, and the peaceful surroundings that make it feel like a special place to stay. The grounds and overall appearance of the hotel were beautiful, and it was clear that a great deal of care went into maintaining the property. Whether you are visiting for a relaxing getaway, a romantic escape, or a special occasion, Lyrath Estate certainly has the setting to make your stay feel memorable. One of the first things that stood out to us was the overall presentation of the estate. The property was clean, well-kept, and visually impressive. The grounds added to the experience, creating a relaxing atmosphere away from the busyness of everyday life. "This place is absolutely magical! The property is enchanting, the hostess fascinating and the breakfast out of this world! The shepherd’s huts are so charming, I guess you could call it “glamping”? The one thing I would say is that my knees aren’t great and I found the steps to the huts a little tricky, so not ideal for anyone with mobility issues, but other than that it’s a 10 out of 10! I wish I could have stayed longer."

"Kilkea Castle was a wonderful stay. Last minute we booked a room in the Lodges; unfortunately, the actual Castle was all booked up. This didn’t lessen the experience though. The lodge room was clean, comfortable, well-appointed and had a fairway view. We were also able to use the facilities in the castle itself. We weren’t there to golf and that was just as well as the course was closed for maintenance. As a golfer the course did look like a premium course, and I’d love to go back for another stay and a round."

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and were very impressed with the overall experience. We had two rooms, and both were spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. The hotel truly exceeded our expectations and offered more than we would typically expect from a 4-star hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. They made us feel genuinely cared for and were always happy to assist with any questions or requests. They also gave us wonderful recommendations on places to visit and things to see in their beautiful country. I am so grateful that we listened to their advice, as some of those experiences became memories that will last forever. The location was also very convenient, only a 10-minute walk from the Irish Rail station, which made traveling to and from Dublin very easy. The breakfast was excellent, with a great selection of fresh and delicious options. It was a wonderful way to start each day before heading out to explore. The hotel also offered exceptional room service. Returning to the hotel after a long day of sightseeing truly felt like coming home—it was always relaxing, comfortable, and welcoming. Overall, we had an excellent experience and would definitely stay here again. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and welcoming place to stay!"
