Beautiful spacious luxury Log Home on 6 acres with 30 foot ceilings and Creek

This luxury log home is made of hand crafted logs, large picture view windows, comfortable high end bedding and furnishings. The home is 3500 square feet on 2 levels. The six acre property has beaver ponds and a year-round creek. There is plenty of parking. The home has a wrap-around deck with outdoor dining and BBQ facilities. The 3 bedrooms are furnished with king size beds but extra twin beds can be added to 2 of the bedrooms for extra guests. We recently added an 850 square foot suite on the first florr of the property that adds 1 king bed and 1 twin bed , an additional full bath, sectional count and coffee service. This makes the house nearly 4100 square feet. This additional suite is $50 per night or is automatically added and charged the same amount when you have 8-10 guests. The property is completely organic and has never had harmful chemicals applied. The logs are not stained on the inside but polished with organic oils.

This is a wonderful house. Large, comfortable rooms, good kitchen setup, lots of amenities, quiet location, neighbors are not close by, and the view is so nice. Great for mornings and evenings on the large wrap around porch. We had a wonderful time and would stay here again.

Short stay

The place worked out great because it had a lot of room. It actually had more rooms and bathrooms than described. Just wish the property was a little more cleaned up and easier access from driveway to front door for those who have balance issues.

We absolutely love staying here every year as our small family vacation to get away from all the stress before Christmas. The house is always clean and welcoming and the property is beautiful even when its raining. 100% recommend it for a peaceful getaway.

When you want to stay extra nights after night #1, you know you are staying at an amazing home! Mary Jane was so sweet and accommodating during our 3 night stay….not that we needed for much… I cannot say enough about the cleanliness, the details in the home and the surrounding beauty!

Perfect for our family get together

This was a great property! We stay at a lot of rentals and this one had a huge amount of space for everyone to spread out when they wanted to. The most comfortable beds and linens I have ever slept on! Tons of dishes and for being a bit in the country the cable and wifi were great.

Relaxation paradise

This property is very unique. My family and I spent Christmas here as a way to get away from the hustle and bustle of it all. The cabin style of the house provided that with surrounding nature, including the sounds of the creek right in the back yard. Mary Jane does an excellent job of maintaining and making sure the house is stocked and taken care of. Because it is such a treasure , guests should take care

We had such a great time in this log cabin. The kitchen was awesome and we did a lot of cooking! Hung out on the deck, took walks down to the pond and around, lovely and peaceful. Even had a fire in the firepit.

Nice and peaceful

Our stay was amazing! The family enjoyed there stay! A nice fire place in the living room and big fire pit outside. All bathrooms has guest robes, which was a nice surprise! All the beds were really comfortable on top of it! I was also happy too see a well stocked Kitchen… everything we needed! I just so happy with our visit, I want to rent this home again!

One of a kind log home

This beautiful home is spacious and comfortable. The host was attentive and available and the home was stocked with everything you would need to make your stay enjoyable. The location in the foothills is filled with live oak trees and wildlife which can be enjoyed from the large decking are. I brought the whole family and we all had a great time. Would definitely like to do it again.

Our stay in the cabin in Brown’s Valley was fantastic. It was only 10 minutes from the wedding venue, which was convenient. The cabin was beautiful, extremely roomy to accommodate a large group. Beds were extremely comfortable. Appliances were great for us to use. I loved the area. It was quiet; we saw a large group of wild Turkey hens. I would definitely recommend the cabin to others. The price was right for such a wonderful place to stay. We wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you Mary.

Awesome vacation spot

We found this house and property beautiful and well maintained. The beds were very comfortable. We were not lacking in every amenity. We did have one minor incident where my son injured his toe and needed first aid supplies, but the first aid kit was empty. It should be re-stocked. It was not a deal breaker, though. Thanks so much, we would definitely return again.
