"Nice hotel, directly opposite train station and easily walkable to the town centre. Parking at the local cricket ground was a short walk but cheap. Breakfast was extra but was nice, and definitely appreciated the choice of having an omelette freshly cooked."

"Very quaint hotel. Felt like we were staying in a bit of history. Very nice bar and grounds. Keswick is a neat area, with lots of shops and restaurants. Only complaint: the biggest freaking spider I’ve even seen decided to take up residence in the bathroom. Fortunately it was the last day, so we let him have it."

Lighting of the ballroom needs attention as it was so bright. Large lake view room was lovely, albeit it needs checking more thoroughly as there were cobwebs and maintenence issues. Gardens needs lighting as we nearly fell trying to return to the hotel o the dark. Paying for carparking when you've paid £350 per night is poor."

"Everything was amazing. Great location and lovely staff. The view from breakfast and the terrace bar was great. 2 things to improve that really hot under my skin.... Breakfast wasn't great. And the hotel bar is extremely overpriced. We paid 10£ for 2 cups of tea (tea bag tea!!!) and alcohol and soft drinks also way over priced. If you book, just make a brew in your room and bring it down, it's the same tea!"
