I can not thank you enough for sharing your little piece of heavan. The property is easy to find. The duplex was well taken care of. I loved the close access to the river. So relaxing to just float down the river.
Duplex was as described. Plenty big enough for 3 people that we had for a fishing trip. The weather didn’t cooperate with a lot of rain. Would stay there again.
This VRBO is an annual girls' trip stay for a group. The location is amazing for a small-town vibe. We enjoy pizza, Mexican, ice cream, shopping, and coffee. The hosts are always great at communicating. The addition of a wider path to access the river is great. If it rains, head to the covered area. Check out Coffee on Main for your morning coffee, Morgans for river fun, and La Di Da boutique in town for shopping.
We really enjoyed our time! The river was beautiful! With it had bee warmer! We also went over to Brookville Lake for some fishing. It's just 15 minutes away!
My wife and I wanted a quite, getaway, peaceful place to relax. The house was very clean and stocked well. The property and river were very enjoyable. The hosts were accommodating and easy to communicate with. The bathroom is a little bit small but I'm 6'1, 250 lbs. and did fine. We hope to be back. Mel
We had a nice time. It's a cute little house that has what you need for that area. It was close to family and easy to find. We've already recommended it to other family members.
Great working with Mark! The location was wonderful - near all the recreational areas and close to town - beautiful yard where you could walk right down to the water. Be advised, though - this duplex is right behind the owners home. They gave us our privacy, just felt a little too close (we like more seclusion). The bed was noisy, the bathroom very small - husband who is 6 foot had to sit "side saddle " on the toilet. It was spotlessly clean, and I cannot say it was a bad experience , it wasn't - just be aware of these things.
It was a great stay in a peaceful location! Enjoyed our walks on the river beach! Listing is not clear that it is a duplex, but it was still quiet. Would love to return in warmer weather and go canoeing.
We had an amazing and restful weekend!! Everything was perfect!! We will be back! If you are looking for a serene environment surrounded by nature but close to conveniences, look no further!!
We used it as a base for boating at nearby Brookville lake. It was a nice change of pace from the lake. I didn’t realize there were actually two units (a duplex). It would be fun to return during raft season and watch the go by. Only 1 bathroom off the main bedroom was not ideal. The host was very good and we’d only recommend more hand towels, more paper towels and more trash bags. Really minor stuff. I’d use it more often if we could bring our dog.
