Great dog friendly place near Brookings

We enjoyed our one night stay here. The pictures represented the property well. Our dog loved to visit with the resident dog.

Redwood Adventure

We had the best time! This was a trip for my mom to visit the Redwood Forest and Brookings was a perfect place to stay. We were close to the Oregon trails and only a short drive to the California park. The house was exactly what we needed to rest at the end of the long days and Mary was a wonderful host. She recommended local spots to hit and even assisted with our drive up the coast to visit lighthouses.

Close to Everything and a Cozy Stay

Been meaning to write a review here for a bit. Mary was a great host, super generous and shared all her favorite beach spots and more. We had some great conversations, but she was only present when we requested something and left us to our adventures otherwise. Perhaps not an ocean view but lovely sunset views over the hill from the barn. We had a great time and loved how warm and inviting the pellet stove made the space feel after day of long, beach hikes. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook our own meals. The converted barn had everything one could need but wasn’t crowded and felt spacious yet cozy. Over-all great place to stay!
