About this property
Wide Open Spaces a Newly Constructed 4 Bed 3.5 bath Family Getaway & Tesla Plug!
Just completed in March 2017, Wide Open Spaces is located 1 mile east of HWY 259 off of Old Hochatown Road. It's the perfect combination of seclusion and close proximity to Broken Bow Lake, Beaver's Bend State Park, and the many restaurants and attractions of Hochatown.
This brand new luxury cabin is tucked away under a towering canopy of hardwood trees on a spacious 2 acre lot. The uniquely designed lot has a circular drive with extra parking as well as a secondary entrance that leads out of the property through a full one acre open space. It's the ideal set up for those interested in bringing boats and/or trailers.
The vast living area features 40ft ceilings with track lighting to highlight the finely crafted exposed beams stretching across the entire open space and combining the living room and kitchen. It's specifically catered to offer the space and comfort needed for those looking to entertain larger groups. This area also consists of extensive dining table and leisure seating, a gas log fireplace, and a 65" 4K Smart TV.
The first floor offers two master bedrooms, each with their own bathroom. A half bath is located downstairs under the stair well and just off the living area. The upstairs bedrooms are of equal size to the masters downstairs and are joined with a Jack & Jill bathroom. Each of the four large bedrooms is furnished with a Casper King Bed and a 48" Smart TV mounted above the storage dresser. The loft area contains a twin day bed with a twin trundle bed. The lodge has enough space and accommodations to comfortably sleep groups of 10.
The living area offers exceptional natural lighting supplied by the 4 glass French Doors that open up to the nearly 1,500 SF of covered deck. The deck overlooks the beautiful hardwoods and gives just enough open space for gorgeous sunrise views. The covered deck includes an outdoor dining table, outdoor lounging furniture, gas log fireplace, and 55" Smart TV. The deck extends out and around one of the staple hardwoods and towards the fire pit. This portion of the deck houses a 6 person hot tub. It is completely surrounded with a full acre of gravel so that weather will not affect the access to the fire pits and gaming areas. This entire area is extremely well lit and makes the fire pit and gaming areas available for use anytime day or night.
The cabin is designed to offer a combination of luxury, comfort, and entertainment so that you and your guests feel as though you never need to leave. For anyone looking to enjoy Beaver's Bend State Park, Broken Bow Lake, and Hochatown, they are all less than 5 miles away.

We lived the beautiful home, spacious living areas, and everything outdoors. So much room and seeing the deer both at night and early morning was amazing. We will be back for sure.
We had a group of 8 adults that were celebrating my husbands 40th Birthday. This cabin was the absolute best! The temperatures outside ended up being absolutely perfect, so we spent our time playing Horse Shoes, Corn Hole, Darts, watching all the deer, and hot tubbing. It was the most relaxing stay and was much needed by us all. We cooked every single one of our meals and had more than enough to do so, all of our needs were met. We loved it here and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place with lots to do and is so peaceful.
Great House- but not recommended for people w/ EVs.
The house itself was great- no complaints with the interior had everything we needed. Location was great as well. My one complaint, which was a pretty big deal to me, is that the listing says “Tesla plug” and there was not one. If you don’t have an EV, than I’d highly recommend. However, we have a Tesla which is why we specifically chose this house so we wouldn’t have issues charging since the closest supercharger is almost 100 miles away. When we got there there wasn’t a “Tesla” charger, or even an EV charger. What they have is a standard outdoor Edison plug that gets you 1-2mph charge. It took us over 24 hours to get about 30 miles. Just felt a bit shady that they would advertise that but not actually have it. Other than that, it was overall a nice house and stay.
This property was perfect for our long weekend with two of our grown kids and their families - close to everything, but also, just a little, off the main road. The cabin was exactly as described…well stocked and beautifully laid out kitchen, lots of dining and living room-indoors and out, four large bedrooms, with three attached bathrooms, so much room outside to run and okay, and an enormous wrap-around porch with plenty of games to keep both the kids and adults entertained. We cooked a number of meals for 6 adults and two kiddos, along with two babies, and never lacked for anything we needed. We enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings. One bonus - if you have very little ones (we had two under two), while the decor is beautiful, there are not tiny little knick-knacks everywhere. In fact, there were few items low to the ground. We didn’t chase the little ones around the entire time, trying to keep them from breaking things. The older kids loved the huge field where they ran and played soccer and football. Oh and we were there over a Saturday, college game day and the one in our group who’s a football fanatic enjoyed the large living area and plenty-big-enough television! Check-in and check-out were simple. Communication with property owner was quick and easy. We can’t say enough about this property and look forward to returning!

Beautiful clean home! Well equipped with everything we needed for a large work group with meals together. Loved the deer in the backyard.
Cabin had a great location that was quiet and away from most other cabins, yet still near the main road and attractions. Deer feeder in the back was a nice touch for deer watching. Cabin was very well stocked with towels, kitchen necessities, games. Very clean! Would stay again!
Loved the cabin. We had 8 people in our group - 6 adults and 2 children. Cabin was well accommodating, stocked, great outdoor games, fire pit and hot tub. Seeing the deer daily in the backyard was a plus. Would definitely recommend staying here. Thanks Dustin (property manager) for answering my questions.
Wide Open Spaces is exactly that, large outdoor area with wildlife and beautiful view. From 82 yrs old to the 11 year old everyone had something to do. Large deck, great games and more than enough space in the house. Can’t wait to return! Dustin, the owner/manager was extremely nice. Loved the hot tub too.

Beautiful and clean home that provides every amenity you will need to enjoy a great vacation.
Wide Open Spaces is a beautiful, clean and well decorated home. The beds are comfy, there is ample sitting space in the living room and outside. We spent so much time on the outdoor porch with the gas fire place that we we didn’t use inside as much. The kitchen has every appliance you need. The outdoor gas grill worked wonderfully and the hot tub was a big hit and easy to use. We vacationed with two other families and everyone had plenty of space. The first morning we were there the gas had a leak, we smelled gas and called Dustin right away. He was there in 5 minutes to take care of the situation. Again, the next day the Pilot light went out on the fireplace, again he was there to fix it within 10 minutes. It was such a fun experience! Memories were made around the fire at night and playing softball in the back yard. The kids and adults also loved all the outdoor games. We will be back for sure!
Sooo perfect for our girls trip! Close enough to things you need, but far away enough to enjoy time alone with friends! Love it! Already looking for dates to book again : )
We rode our motorcycles/triglides here from Texas. You would think once we were at the cabin that you were miles & miles away from town. Cabins are beautiful & a lot of necessities already there. Very good stay.
Loved the deer feeder. Watching the animals was a beautiful sight. Only negative, there was an animal inside rafters of upstairs bedroom making noise all night.
We LOVED staying at this beautiful property! The home was decorated beautifully and the details were perfect. Beds were very comfortable! This house is perfect for families with young kids, teens, or even just a couples getaway. We will definitely stay here again!
We stayed at Wide Open Spaces with three other couples and we all absolutely loved the cabin! What attracted us to this cabin is its bed setup. Typically, it's hard to find a place with four king beds. There's usually a room or two with bunk beds, catering to families. We chose to leave our kids at home, so to find a place that had beds for each couple was a dream come true! It ended up coming with everything we didn't even know we needed. When we did run into a slight "issue," the property manager responded and came to help us out in less than an hour. We are already planning next year's trip!
Loved your place it was nice and clean. The beds was a little low to the floor but comfy. The grill outside doesn’t light without help and cooks very uneven but the propane tank was full. We had everything we need to have a great weekend
Overall we had a wonderful time. Watching the deer in the morning and evenings was a great experience. Some basic kitchen supplies were lacking and the cabin is definitely due for a deep clean (unusually dusty, sink wasn’t clean, ice machine in fridge broken) but overall still a great weekend!
