The Green Retreat-Pool Table, Foosball/Shuffleboard Tables, Playground Set

  • Upscale Mountain Spa Cabin (Sleeps 8) - The Cabin's presents earth tone soft colors adding a natural "Green" vibe inside and outside. The outdoor lot is treed with Pines and Hardwoods with a Mountain Ridge setting. This cabin is equipped with games and upscale amenities. The overlooking elevated deck includes a 7-Person hot tub, outdoor  TV, outdoor dining table and comfortable seating. There are several games and play areas outside including a Playground Set, Horseshoes, Tether Ball, Corn Hole, and Foosball. 

    Each of the 3 spacious Master Suites include a King Bed, and 50" TVs.  The Main Master Bedroom is where you will find dual vanities with an over-sized Tile Shower with Rainfall and Wand shower heads.  Master #2 and Master #3 both have spacious Rainfall and Wand Showers.

    The Game Room includes a 7 Ft. Pool Table and 9 Ft. Shuffle Board Table.  The elevated deck offers scenic mountain ridge views in the hardwoods and Pines.

    The fully equipped kitchen features beautiful butcher block counters and stainless-steel appliances. The Great Room features a Gas fireplace, Comfortable furniture, beams, White Pine interior with blue-stain highlights, and large windows that showcase the scenic outdoor views.

    The Green Retreat has Wi-Fi, DirecTV (with movie channels), and is Pet Friendly.

    The Green Retreat is located at the end of the road in the Timber Creek Trails - Eagle Mountain Development. This area has well maintained roads and is located in north Hochatown, close to Broken Bow Lake and Beavers Bend Marina. In Timber Creek Trails you will find the Mountain Fork Microbrewery, Escape Games, Okie Girls Ice Cream and Coffee Shop, and Shuck-Me Cajun Fish Restaurant. Hochatown and all its tourist attractions are conveniently located only 1 mile away.

We loved this cabin so much! It was so clean when we arrived. We had a 3 year old and a 6 year old with us who could not get enough of the play area and other games. The cabin had everything we needed plus! We hope to go back there in the future!!

This was the perfect cabin for our stay. Great location, quiet, beautiful, fully stocked, and clean. There were 6 of us plus two infants. Plenty of activities to keep us busy. Loved both patios and spent a lot of time outside. The two year old loved the playground. We will definitely book this cabin again. Couldn’t have been any better.

House and property were great. The house is very well stocked and comfy. Bring your sleep mask as the blinds a very thin and did not block the light. Great stay overall.

Great cabin with lots to do

We chose this cabin because of all the things there were to do at the house and the bonus was the 3 king bedrooms with their own private bathrooms. We would definitely stay here again. Although there are other cabins around, there is plenty of privacy and it was quiet. The kitchen was very well-stocked and Christmas decor was beautiful. We can’t wait to go back again.

Annual family vacay

Our family travels to Hochatown from Kaufman, TX every year for family vacation and this was by far our favorite cabin! The cabin was very well stocked with everything we needed and more and the beds were amazing!! We had so much fun playing the endless games that were there! At no point did any of us ever get bored! We will definitely be staying at the Green Retreat again!!

Wonderful house!

This house was clean, very well stocked, beautifully decorated and comfy. The game room and playground made our trip extra special, as we spent hours playing games and making memories. It wasn't quite as secluded as we thought and if you're outside, you can hear the neighbors playing around the neighborhood, but we would definitely stay there again.

Best well-stocked cabin ever!

The cabin is very nice; they had it decorated wonderfully for fall. They put a lot of thought and work into the decorating. I would love to see what they do for Christmas. We've stayed in many different cabins over the years, but this was absolutely the most well-stocked cabin you could ask for. Loved having a bathroom for each bedroom, and the games available were great!! I would highly recommend this cabin for a family or three couples.

If I could give 50 stars I would. This cabin is absolutely perfect in every way. Cleanliness, size, entertainment, accommodations, location etc… I can not say enough wonderful words for this property. We were looking for a house in a quiet location and this house delivered. With three bedrooms all with en suite bathrooms, it was perfect. There were so many things to do, from playing pool or shuffleboard in the house to horsehoes, corn hole, or tetherball outside. There were puzzles, books, and games for all ages. The deck was our favorite place to be, and we spent most of our time out there. Highly recommend this property!

Amazing!

Our stay at the Green Retreat was amazing! It’s way better in person than the pictures. The front playground and game area was so wonderful for our kids! Such a big front yard and backyard. This place was so clean and it had the most stocked kitchen we’ve experienced. The home was cozy and the views were incredible! A big bonus is that it’s not a far drive to the strip mall that has coffee, a brewery, the tasting room, etc! Great location and we can’t wait to come back!!

Couples Christmas Retreat

My boyfriend and I came with 2 other couples and we were in AWE! We had the time of our lives, just relaxing in nature! The host thought of EVERYTHING, we wanted for nothing. The place was clean, check in was simple, we fell in LOVE with the place and can't wait to return! We had a small issue with the battery going out in a smoke detector in one of the rooms and the response time was UNBELIEVABLE...and on a Saturday! They got there so fast to fix it, we had barely hung up the phone! I can't rave about this place enough! WE LOVE IT!

Eclipse chasing

We booked well in advance of the total solar eclipse on 4/8/24. When the time came we had one kid working out of state and one on military duty! The cabin seems like brand new, everything was in great shape and extremely clean. The location in the woods is beautiful. The hosts were prompt and responsive in their communication prior to our trip. We have stayed in many VRBOs and can't say enough good things about this one, easily one of the best around.

Much needed rest

Just overall in great shape. The little things were awesome. The book on us. The wood to use for the pit. The shovel and the rake close by to tidy things up. Ease of entrance and the music playing when we first walked in. The wife said she had not felt this good and relaxed in a long time, she has RA. So it felt like domething went right. Watching my kids and grandbaby just over all enjoy themselfs. Even disconnected from electronicsand played and explored.

Relaxing vacation

We had a great time and would definitely come back! The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, etc…We stopped at Pruitt’s and Walmart on our way to the cabin and stocked up on food to cookout on the grill and to make s’mores in the fire pit. The cabin has a cozy, comfortable feel to it. It was nice having a washer/dryer to use. There were plenty of towels and even beach towels available. We enjoyed using the hot tub, and it felt very private with all the trees around. We had 6 adults and 2 children and we all felt very comfortable staying there for 4 nights. Communication with the property management was always quick responses and always friendly. My husband and I had a wonderful trip and felt like the entire stay from start to finish was great!

House that has everything!

We loved this house. This was our 4th stay in the area and we've been in some beautiful homes, but this one takes the cake. It had everything! The hot tub was large and we loved having the choices between a foosball table, pool table and shuffle board for entertainment not to mention all the board games and reading options. The huge lot was wonderful for the dogs and we all enjoyed the lawn games and my son loved the play structure. It was great to have so many choices for recreation and relaxation all on one property. The beds were comfy, everything was clean and inviting and there was a most beautiful touch of fresh flowers in vases lining the window sill in the kitchen on our arrival. That blew me away. This is the place! We will absolutely seek this rental out again for our next visit.
