The Blue Heron, HIDDEN IN THE WOODS YET CLOSE TO TOWN

Hidden in the woods yet close to everything! The BEAUTIFUL Blue Heron with blue glass patio fire pit table! The Blue Heron cabin is a privately owned cabin nestled in the heart of Broken Bow. This cozy and romantic cabin is the perfect getaway for couples, families or small groups of friends. It has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom with a tub and shower. It sleeps 6 people comfortably. All beds come with memory foam mattresses. The master bedroom has a king sized bed and guests will love the giant, flat screen TV. The living room has a large flat screen TV and a cozy gas fireplace with a large foosball table and gaming console. Stroll out onto the large patio and have a cup of coffee or sip some wine in the hot tub. Be sure to say hello to the deer that love to roam the property. Enjoy a game of horseshoes or cornhole. The Blue Heron is minutes away from Broken Bow lake, local restaurants, shops and bars as well as other amenities. Bring some steaks and choose from either the gas or charcoal grill. Toast some marshmallows in the fire pit. Make some memories and have a great time! Full sized kitchen with fridge, electric stove and oven, microwave and coffee makers. Kitchen is stocked with the basics.

This cabin provides a lovely and restful stay with necessary amenities in the kitchen. Outside you will find rocking chairs, outdoor cooking equipment and porch swing. Plus smart TVs and foosball inside. You are close enough to nearby kayaking, restaurants, lake activities while far enough for quiet.

Great stay!

Excellent cabin for the weekend! Great location clean, and everything you need to relax and enjoy Broken Bow. Really enjoyed the special extra touches the owners put on everything to ensure their clients have the best stay of not only their cabin but the area as well.

Cozy, quiet and comfy

My husband and I spent a delightful weekend with our dogs in this cute cabin. We had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway, and the location was just about perfect. The arrival and departure were worry free as well. We would definitely stay at the Blue Heron again.

PERFECT! So grateful we found this gem--it was perfect for my family of 5 (mom, dad, 3 kids under 12). And dog friendly!!! We saw wildlife, we were close to the lake, we felt safe, cozy and at peace. Can't wait to go back, would 100% stay here again!

Short romantic getaway

Great location just a short ride to all resteraunts and venues. The cabin was clean,and decked out with all the amenities youll need to have a good romantic stay or to play games and relax. We will surely come back and stay time and again.

Perfect cabin very good location close to everything!

Single mom who braved bringing my teenage daughter her friends my son and his friend! We spent the majority of the time on the river tubing and cliff jumping! My favorite was the deer next door feeding in the mornings when the kids were still sleeping’

Lovely Cabin Nestled in the Woods

We absolutely loved the cabin, and were very pleased with the owner. She helped me on numerous occasions with questions and gave great advice on where to eat along with fun activities for the kids. We saw a ton of deer every day! The cabin was perfect for 4 people… lots of fun for the kids, including a fuse ball table and arcade game. Highly recommended this cabin! It was perfect for our trip!

Great escape

My wife and I stayed the weekend at this peaceful retreat, wish we could have stayed longer but work is calling. I would recommend The Blue Heron for a quick getaway or a long vacation, great location in the woods but just minutes away from anything you would want to do. Sit on the front porch and watch the deer !!

Perfect weekend getaway

My husband and I came up from Dallas for the weekend without knowing much about the area and were so pleasantly surprised by the great location. It was close to the state park, Beavers Bend Brewery, and some of the best restaurants, but still private with it being tucked back in the woods. We saw deer nearby more often than not while outside spending time on the patio or in the hot tub. The property owners sent clear instructions and videos on how to operate things in advance and were available if we had any questions. We will definitely be booking here again next time we’re in the area!

Enjoyed our stay!

Everything was wonderful about our stay. The cabin was lovely, clean and had all of the essentials - very well thought out. The owners were extremely responsive and helpful. We took their suggestion and ate at Abendigos, which was amazing! Get the brisket nachos and shrimp and grits. So good! The cabin is in very close proximity to other properties, luckily that weren’t booked during our stay. The only suggestion would be to bring your own cookware, as most pots and pans and cookie sheet were well used. All around, it was a great place and we miss it already!

Cabin was beautiful! Very convenient location and close to everything. The neighbors had a deer feeder out and we saw multiple herds of deer everyday there. Cabin was clean, and had plenty of room for your own food and things. Hot tub was a huge plus, it was clean and we used it everyday while we were there. It was private however did have neighbors all around. We did have a couple of issues however the owners responded quickly. It was decorated for Christmas which was a nice touch.

The property was very nice. The concrete floor was a bit of a surprise. I understand wanting privacy in the hot tub but the screen detracted from the experience. We also struggled getting the tv's to work. Pizza restaurant by cabin was really good. We were surprised that the Walmart had a very small selection of groceries and no produce or bakery

The owners were VERY responsive. For me, that is a big deal knowing I can reach someone and get a quick response. They were nice, accessible, and helpful. Cabin felt cozy and secluded. A huge plus for us, you could see local tv/cable on the tv. Most places you have to stream movies/shows. Being a big Cowboys fan, I was able to watch the game with ease. We would definitely return to this place in the future.

Winter Stay

Very nice property. Stream runs between it and neighbors property. Saw a group of deer each evening. Cabin is very nice, and well stocked. Hot tub was nice along with having the outside gas fire pit on porch. If I had any negatives it would only be two things. Arcade game in cabin is very difficult to figure out and get any games going on. After trying twice I gave up. The other thing would be the roads in the neighborhood( although they seem to be consistent throughout the Hochatown cabin areas). It rained a lot while we were there and the roads in the neighborhood are very muddy. Back on positive note …. the cabin location is right where everything is in town. Once you hit the main road you’re right in the middle of all the restaurants and entertainment. Really enjoyed the area.
