The perfect family vacation
This place was beautiful and packed with so much entertainment... my whole family (parents, siblings, nieces, nephews) spent many fabulous days there and never ran out of things to do at the house. Loved the wrap around porch and the table that could accommodate everyone. The ring hook game, outdoor TV, hot tub, and foosball were big hits. The kitchen was sufficiently outfitted to cook all our meals. Beds were very cozy and bathrooms were clean and nice. SO JEALOUS OF THE WRAP AROUND PORCH! Just had to mention it twice, I want one at my home. Hosts checked in via email once during the stay and were great communicators throughout the process. Overall loved our stay and made beautiful memories, including a once in a lifetime total eclipse with my whole extended family... thanks again!! It was definitely just what we needed

Enjoyable Weekend Away
Our family really enjoyed our time at “Just What I Needed.” Hochatown was an easy 4 hour drive from our home and we had never been before, but enjoyed finding such a neat little spot nearby. The cabin was clean and included all the amenities we needed as well as fun games and activities (both indoor and out) for the kids to enjoy. We loved the fire pit, the spacious porch, and the quaint creek. Great stay overall!

Something for everyone
The wrap around porch was the show stopper here. The cabin was tucked back into the woods so kids could run and play with no worry of cars/traffic. Communication with owner was strong in beginning but when I emailed them during the stay I never heard back. Overall nice visit.

One of my top rated vacations
This place is beautiful. It's quiet, well except for my grandchildren's loud bigfoot imitations. We played foosball on the porch, had an awesome campfire a couple of nights, found crawdads and minnows in the creek, played horseshoes and cornhole. I wanted a secluded cabin because there are 7 of us and we always have fun, but we can be loud. There was one hiccup where the AC froze up and water poured from the ceiling. It wasn't fun at the time, but looking back, it was part of the adventure. Something unusual to remember. I want to give my family fun memories. Mission accomplished and then some. I highly recommend Just What I needed.

The perfect spot!
We loved the location, close enough to town it wasn’t a hassle to go in but at the end of the neighborhood tucked away so we felt like we were alone in the forest. So many things at the cabin to do and the wrap around porch was amazing! Sara answered every question I had promptly and was very accommodating. We will be back!

The perfect weekend
It was hands down the BEST place. Accommodations were above and beyond. They thought of everything as for entertainment. You didn't even really need to leave the cabin and they checked in on us to ensure we had everything. Hands down best experience ever staying somewhere.

Fantastic stay!!
We met cousins for a New Years weekend stay. The cabin is beautiful, comfortable, and clean. So many extra amenities that made our stay so fun - great porch & furniture, yard games, fire pit with wood provided. The location is perfect to easily access the park and restaurants. The hosts were so helpful and responded quickly to any questions we had. We loved every minute! Highly recommend!

Christmas in the cabin
We really loved the cabin. It slept 7 of us comfortably. The kitchen was well stocked and had pretty much everything we needed. We did all of our cooking and eating there and it worked perfectly. Unfortunately the cold spell that went through caused some issues with our stay, but the owners were readily available and quick to respond and help us resolve the issues. Even on Christmas Day! We hope to visit again soon!

Christmas Trip
The home was great. Plenty of space to spread out. Kids age 13-18 loved the outdoor games and the deck outside. Plenty of firewood for fireplace and fire pit outside. Close to restaurants and activities. Hot tub was used every night.

Excellent property!
This property was phenomenal! The amenities were all new, including furniture, tvs, and games, that are usually a bit worn at some rental properties. The area had tons of deer visitors; hot tub was amazing; the firewood a huge relief in not having to buy or bring your own. We’ve stayed at a lot of different cabins and this may have been a favorite due to the isolation and new upgrades.

Quiet Retreat Cabin
This cabin was perfect for our desired weekend getaway in the woods. We loved the location- quiet and wooded, while still being just a short drive to shops, restaurants, golf course, and state park. Cold weather, warm inside
We enjoyed the property even with the cold weather. The property could be in better shape as it’s a little dated and the master shower was partially broken. It’s nice have firewood provided as not all places in Broken Bow do this and the fire pit was great with lots of seating. Horseshoe pits are tough as they are severely slanted but jacuzzi worked great!

Great cozy and comfortable cabin
I rented this for my son's 18th birthday weekend. It's location is absolutely beautiful and it's not far from everything you would want to do. We will be making this a tradition. We absolutely loved our stay there. The owners are absolutely amazing, it showed and iced the day we were supposed to check in. The owner let us come up a day early so we could get there before the roads were closed.

New Year’s Family Getaway
There are so many great things to say about this property! It’s beautiful and clean inside and out. The kitchen has everything you need to cook meals. We loved all the outdoor games available (horseshoes, corn hole, hook and ring, ) and the fire pit (with plenty of firewood). There is a great forest trail that starts right from the property and the creek below was beautiful and relaxing. The wraparound porch was also comfortable and well appointed! The owners provided all the information we needed to enjoy the cabin and were very responsive during our stay. I am already looking for a date to go back!

The property was even better in person..
It was spotless and very well maintained with fun things to do outside and inside. An unusual extended thunderstorm could have ruined our vacation, but the expansive wrap-around porch saved it!…along with foosball and Pac-Man . We did get in a pre-storm walk in the creek, a couple of hikes and a large bonfire for 11! Super responsive owners are always a plus, and these owners were just the best!

Birthday Squad in Broken Bow!!
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! The house was gorgeous. Perfectly set up for us and our 3 friends! 3 of the 5 of us were all celebrating our birthdays and Sara and John left us Birthday Cupcakes for when we checked in! So kind of them!! The house is set in the most beautiful area of the woods, quiet and secluded from the rest of the houses in the area. It has a beautiful entrance and surroundings. We all drove white/silver SUVs, and I, numerous times, said it looked like an SUV commercial when you looked outside because the scenery around us was just stunning. Perfect outdoor fire pit with sitting chairs. Full wrap around porch with an awesome hot tub that we used regularly! A friend went on a small hike down to the creek that you can barely see and hear from the porch. So quiet and charming. Went into town to catch a little of the local feel and ate at Grateful Head, cool little pizza joint. Hung out at a couple breweries, met some locals, hung out at the Tasting Room, ended one night at the local country bar, Chiggers!!!! SO MUCH FUN! From the beautiful house, warm and cozy fireplace, comfy beds, good food and drinks and awesome friends to be around, it was an awesome birthday weekend!!! Wouldn't mind coming around and wasting our time, I guess it was just what we needed.... ;-)

Great family get away!
The cabin is updated and had all we needed for a great family getaway. We brought food and cooked most meals there without lacking anything in our prep. The town is just a short drive ( on a bumpy dirt road so be prepared ) to cute shops and dining- with outdoor options for those who are still keeping it COVID safe with social distance. Beaver’s Bend state park is also very close for hiking, paddle boating, kayaking, and even trail riding! The cabin itself is PLENTY big to stretch out and relax- we had 4 adults and 4 kids and still had room to spare. The outdoor spaces were very nice- beautiful wraparound porch, hot tub, seating areas, fire pit, and swing with outdoor games. It was a wonderful time for all and we were sad that we did not book it for longer! Thank you for sharing your cabin with us!
