Loved the location and the Cabin itself. The only negatives were the master bedroom mattress was very uncomfortable and squeaky every time you move, and the dishes and skillets were not clean. The hot tub was very nice and the fire pit was a nice place to spend a chilly evening.
Some of my family and my wife and son and I had a wonderful time staying here, it was our first time being in Oklahoma and we loved Hotchatown and Broken Bow! So much to do and see and all within a short distance from the very lovely and spacious cabin! The property manager was easy to communicate with on our only issue with the hot tub throwing the breaker, they handled the situation professionally and to the best of their ability during our short stay. We would book this cabin again in the future!
We had a very comfortable stay for a wonderful price. This property was accessible to all travelers young and old. It was stocked adequately and we did not find ourselves lacking.
There were two concerns overall. The first was the refrigerator. We are guessing there was food left in there from a previous occupant and it was completely rancid. We cleaned it out multiple times and it started smelling better by the time we left. The other issue was the ants. I know it is a wooded area so some critters are assumed, but there were soooooo many ants. We kept food bagged and dishes washed, but still found ants everywhere. (Ice maker, jacuzzi tub, our toothbrushes etc)
Overall we had a very pleasant experience just those two issues.
Cabin was quaint and cute! Great location to the lake! Love the deck and the big backyard. Not very private, can see 4 other cabins and you do hear road noise but it didnt bother us. Really need some additional lighting to backyard as the ONE motion light isn't enough and does not always pick up or stay on long. We did not use the hot tub. The parking is tight if you have a taller and larger boat but otherwise plenty of parking for several vehicles. There are some areas that need attention, some have previously mentioned: front right stove burner barely works, fridge smelled like something dead, master bedroom door does not lock and the top comforter/pillow shams on the bed are stained, corn hole only has 2 bags. Would be nice to add: extra wash clothes-there were 3 for 6 people, also dish rags-there was 1, and a colander for the kitchen. I did appreciate the box fans in the closet especially since it was 75 degrees when we got there and well into the night before it cooled the house down. Loved the inside decor and the pantry area for groceries!
We would stay again because of the location!
not lock,
House was very clean, property was beautiful, and very peaceful. We really enjoyed our Easter weekend here. Close the the lake and state park. Easy access and just a short drive to the grocery store.
We had a wonderful stay, 6 adults for the weekend for my husbands birthday. Our cabin had everything we needed and very comfortable and cozy. Check in and check out was super easy. We loved our stay and will be back.
We really enjoyed the property. The owners were very quick and helpful with communication, and any minor issues we had were dealt with swiftly and efficiently. The place is close to the main highway which does make for some traffic noise, but coming from a city with a ton of noise I didn't find it too intrusive and liked the easy access to a major roadway for sightseeing. We got to see deer out back several days in a row which the kids loved. The hot tub is a nice touch, and we had decent cell service and a good wifi connection. Would love to stay here again!
we have stayed in this area before but not at this particular property. the cabin was furnished very well. kitchen was adequately stocked. only item of importance would be there is no hand railing on the front steps. if you have a bag of groceries or have elderly guests with you it can be difficult to ingress and egress. other wise enjoy your stay.
The only negative thing I can say is the fridge was super stinky. Smells
Like somebody left some seafood or fish in it for a long time, to the point we didn’t dare even use it in fear of our food smelling and/or tasting fishy.

Great House but Location is NOT Secluded and Ants are issue
This is a great 3 bedroom house with a lovely deck. The location is NOT secluded as mentioned. It is about 200 yards from the freeway and you hear the traffic constantly. All night all day.....the freeway is busy. From the deck you are facing this and the master bedroom is at the back of the house so you hear the traffic all night.
We also had a significant ant problem in the kitchen and it ruined our groceries on the counter. There is no reason there should be an ant problem after all this time (previous reviews address this). It has been an ongoing issue and needs to be fixed. Get this treated so no other guest has to deal with it!
This cabin is in the perfect location to Girls Gone Wine, brewery company, bowling alley and Broken Bow lake. Beautiful area and easy to get to. Can't wait to come back.
