Family Fun Time

Beautiful cabin!

Travelled with a group of friends and had a wonderful time at this cabin! We especially enjoyed the spacious upstairs gameroom and all the patio space. Would definitely stay here again!

The perfect vacation spot

Moonlight Creek is simply perfect! Great accommodations, extremely well stocked for supplies and useful items, and a serene, gorgeous property. We absolutely loved it and would very definitely strongly recommend to families or groups. The bedrooms and bathrooms had great privacy and the group spaces were great.

Fantastic family reunion location

We spent 3 nights during the holidays. The cabin was great. It had plenty of space and activities so everyone was entertained despite the weather. The place had enough spots so everyone could enjoy as much or as little company as they liked. We would definitely go again.

Amazing cabin

Our stay was amazing. Our host did an amazing job with accommodations and responding to us in a timely manner. The cabin was everything that we could imagined plus more. It was so spacious and something fun to do for everybody and every age. We can't wait to come back🤗

Perfect house for multiple groups!

Each bedroom had its own bathroom which was nice for privacy. Nice yard on a creek which was relaxing and the outside/balcony area was a nice place to escape!

Family Vacation

Everything about this home was great. It was beautiful, in a great location, creek in back was a plus with the grandkids. Beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. It rained the last day of our stay but had a great time in the game room. Plan on booking it again next year.

Perfect cabin for a family vacation

The cabin was beautiful and just perfect for our family vacation. Each kid (adult kids) had their own room and bathroom. We enjoyed playing pool and the awesome game room on the second floor. Spent time in the hot tub and by the fire pit. The kitchen was well stocked. The mattresses were some of the best we have used in rental cabins. Highly recommend!

Annual Getaway Perfection

Moonlight Creek was by far the best cabin I have stayed at in Hochatown. It could not have been more perfect. Online listing is exactly what it is says, and the communication with Kim was stellar. We asked about a griddle being provided, and they did not have one, but when we arrived one was in the kitchen. Gorgeous location, and easy drive along Lukfata trail. Will not stay anywhere else moving forward.

Family Vacation

Moonlight Creek Cabin was enjoyed by all. The game room was perfect for the grandchildren as well as all adults. The grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed fishing and playing in the creek at the cabin. Each adult couple had their own master bedroom and the grandchildren slept in the bunkroom. The kitchen was large, had ample seating for all, and was equipped with everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

A great house for a family trip / wedding

Me and my wife booked this trip for a spring break get away. After realizing that everyone was going to be in one place we decided it would be a great place to tie the knot. The pictures didn’t do it justice and we are happy to include this location in the memory of our wedding and hopefully anniversary celebration to come.

Stunning cabin with everything you need

Perfect cabin for our friend group as all couples had their own king size bed and bathroom. Beautiful view and every amenity you could ever need. We did text the property manager a few items during our stay and text messages were never answered.

Perfect house with a creek!

We met up for a family gathering here and the place was perfect. The online pictures are EXACTLY what it looks like. no false advertising. The outdoor entertaining spaces were so comfortable and well thought out. My kids thought the creek was the best part of the trip (and I did too). We would come back here in a heartbeat.

Annual Family Thanksgiving

This cabin is gorgeous, clean, well stocked kitchen! A place to sleep for everyone! The living room is a very good size, with large sofas fir all the watch movies on… each room has their own tv as well. The downstairs (there is a huge furnished upstairs porch as well!)porch is wonderful, large table, as well as outdoor gas fireplace. A lovely hot tub, and an area to play games, explore the creek, at tge base of the stairs. The cabin provides wood for the fire pit, which is awesome! We cooked our Turkey dinner in the DOUBLE oven! Only drawback- the cabin is a bit tricky with our civic- lots of rocks, so go SLOW down and up the hills!

Incredible Friends Weekend

I have stayed at many VRBO properties and have never had such amazing communication from the management company. From the time I placed the reservation to our departure there was constant communication via email and text. We had a question about how to operate the fireplace and it was immediately addressed. The property is gorgeous and exactly as described. It was perfect for our friends weekend of 5 couples. The cabin was welcoming and beautifully decorated. The bedrooms were very comfortable and all the common spaces were cozy. Could not have asked for a better property. Our only issue was driving on the roads leading up to the property. There are gravel roads and have significant holes due to erosion. It was difficult to drive in and out of the community even with larger vehicles. That was absolutely the only downfall of this property. Other than that I would rate it an A+

JUST BOOK IT

This house is missing nothing to give you the best possible vacation, weekend getaway, or whatever the occasion. We mostly cooked since we had such a large group and the kitchen is well stocked. Even baked my kids birthday cake! The 5 king beds made all adult rooms extra comfy!!! Adults and kids enjoyed pool and shuffle board in the game room. One of our favorite things was the creek behind the house. It kept the kids occupied between adventures of kayaking and trail riding. They swam and caught crawdads. The deck was one of our favorite places to relax, drink coffee, watch some TV and of course play a little cornhole! We loved the peace and quiet at the dead end road too. There are a couple miles of dirt road to get to the house, but it was totally worth it for everything this house had to offer. With two washers and dryers, we ended our trip with no dirty clothes! Plus the rental company was quick to respond to any want or need. If you are thinking of booking, JUST DO IT! You won’t regret it!

Outcome of The Overlook (not Moonlight Creek)

(VRBO mistakenly has the stay at Moonlight Creek, which is not accurate) We just wrapped up our 12-person, 5-day, Easter family getaway in The Overlook at Carter Mountain West. It is nothing but spectacular in every regard. Book it with no doubt or trepidation about it lacking in any way. This is an executive level, luxury-class, stay. The owners have this well-appointed for those wanting a differentiated experience. It starts with the positioning of the property to maximize the view and ending with retiring from each day enveloped in warmth and reprieve in one of many sanctuaries throughout where you can make your evening your own. If you take advantage of the resort-like pool/hot tub and unique pickle ball/basketball court, you’ll seek it. Not that you’d want to or have to leave but logistics to Hochatown and Broken Bow eateries, shopping and excursions are easily managed within 10-20 minutes drive. The Bravo Cabin (via VRBO) team was amazing, too. Their end-to-end process is efficient, their attention to service is evident and they are quite accessible and accommodating, yet invisible at the same time. Go ahead and make The Overlook your own even as brief as it may be.

the house had very nice finishings, was clean, and was the most "stocked" house we've ever stayed at- meaning plenty of toilet paper, trash bags, laundry detergent, kitchen gadgets/platters. Very well stocked. one single down side were the roads getting to the cabin- but doable and great location with the creek in the backyard!!

Great Family House!

We enjoyed this cabin so much! Our group included 3-4 families with kids of different ages & everyone enjoyed every part of the cabin (inside & out). It was such a great experience & am definitely thinking about booking again.
