Clean and neat property that's fairly secluded. A perfect place to getaway and relax on the porch. Hot tub was nice bonus feature. Would definitely go back again. The neighborhood dirt roads could be tough if it's raining.
This gem of a place, tucked away on a hilltop, surrounded by God’s handiwork of nature, was exactly the 3 night getaway we had hoped for. We especially enjoyed its close proximity to both downtown Broken Bow and Hochatown, as well as Beaver Bend State Park. We will definitely visit again!
The cabin was wonderful. It was clean and very comfortable. It was well stocked with everything we needed, and Eric gave us great information for our stay. It is located and a wonderful quiet neighborhood. We would definitely stay again.
Wonderful location, beautiful surroundings and relatively private and quiet
My wife and I spend our 32nd anniversary at this cabin and enjoyed a few days of piece and quiet. We had a wonderful steak dinner at the Choctaw Resort and spent a little time at the casino. Mostly we just hung out, did a little shopping and enjoyed the hot tub. The cabin was very clean and everything was perfect.
The cabin was cozy and clean. The hot tub was fantastic. The location is perfect because you don’t hear highway noise but you’re a few minutes from the main road. We had a beeping alarm going off and I contacted the owner and he had it fixed within a few hours. That was unexpected and appreciated.
Great cabin! We have stayed in multiple vacation rentals and this one is one of our favorites. Very clean and comfortable with a nice layout. We spent a great deal of our time on the deck where we saw lots of different birds and deer on a daily basis. Conveniently located between Broken Bow and Hochatown. Beavers Bend State Park was very close, also. Highly recommended!
First time coming to this neck of the woods and even though we stayed just one night it was still a pleasant experience. There was a pond not to far away and spend some time in the evening fishing and feeding deer, overall a very cozy and warm stay. Thanks and God bless
We needed a cabin for one night and this was a great place. It was roomy and the shower was a nice size. The hot tub was a wonderful addition. The only thing I would advise people on is the hill right before you arrive. It is rough and I would advise taking a higher riding vehicle up it. Otherwise, a fantastic place.
I booked this cabin as a birthday surprise for my wife. We had the best weekend and could not have been more pleased with our stay. This cabin has everything you could hope for and then some. It sits up high providing a great view in a peaceful setting. There is a nice Weber grill, patio furniture, and hot tub on the back deck. We also loved the hammock and indoor fireplace. We cooked our meals at the cabin and the kitchen had all the dishes and utensils you need to prepare a nice meal. The bed is comfy and has good pillows. We also enjoyed the dual heads in the shower. We highly recommend this cabin and will definitely visit again.
This was a good rental for a weekend. It was very clean and comfortable for 2 people and 2 dogs.
If you have pets, it’s important to know about Buddy the dog before renting. He’s a neighborhood dog that likes to visit the cabin. We did not see him on our trip but would have had a big problem if we had because one of our dogs is very dog reactive.
I was a little nervous at first due to reviews saying you needed a truck to get to the property as we were coming on our motorcycle. The roads fine! There is a hill but that’s expected here! No problems coming in on the bike! The property/cabin is gorgeous! The owner is very nice and responded quickly!

Comfortable cabin but have an SUV or truck
Great cabin. We really enjoyed the view, wildlife and cozy feel. Hot tub was a plus. My only complaints which would not keep me from going back is the road to get there is bad so drive a truck or SUV. Secondly, there was a note not to use the sleeper sofa but instead for us to use an air mattress which was fine but it didn’t work so we had to use the cushions from the sofa as a mattress. Not idea but we managed.
Burning Lights cabin is great for a couple’s getaway. Our basic goal for this trip was to getaway, unwind, relax, and get off the grid. This cabin was perfect. All the modern amenities with a back to nature feel. Hot tub and hammock were amazing. Gas grill came in handy with our steaks from Mountain Man Meat Market. Just up the road from Beaver Bend State Park for nice hikes on the trails. If I had to pick one drawback would be the road is unpacked and even though the cabin sits back in the woods during high traffic times of day it can get quite dusty. It had blow up mattress and a sofa bed but 4 people would be a little snug and in convenient with only one bathroom. We didn’t use it much but wifi and cable worked great!
