Everything was great! Very nice layout on the house would be great with kids. Very secluded! Only issue we did have was with the hot tub having cans floating in it….
Bear Trap is a great house for a family to relax! We only stayed for the weekend but we had a great time. We stayed during the pool’s off season but it looked like it would be a blast so we plan to try & rebook the house during the summer months!
This was the perfect place for our family. 2 kids 3 and 6. They loved the bunk beds. Loved the layout of the house and loved the big huge deck. Loved that there were board games and jenga to play. Location is perfect, just outside of beavers bend! Will be staying there again!
The best cabin we’ve stayed at in Broken Bow! Location was perfect. Loved the pool and deck. Tons or privacy. Beautifully designed and decorated! Will 100% be back to stay here again!
This place was exactly what we needed after long days of baseball in sweltering weather. Clean, welcoming and spacious. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The deck in the mornings was cool and the trees were beautiful. A 10 for sure!
We only left for beer! Otherwise, all the amenities and nature kept us in place. We enjoyed nature watching, the spa, corn hole, OU game, cooking in/out and our fabulous company. Much appreciated.
50th anniversary in June-late celebration for the 2 of us!
Definitely a hideaway in the woods-roads may be dangerous after a heavy rain or sleet or snow-one lane road up n down a couple of steep hills w/some potholes(could use some road repair in couple of places getting to cabin!
Cabin was great, although I am use to being able to see sunrises n sets/here there are so many gorgeous pines n other trees that it’s hard to see very far! We very much enjoyed our stay, tho!
We enjoyed our time at the Beat Trap house. Quiet and secluded. Kids enjoyed the pine forest around the home, and we enjoyed the quiet and peacefulness that surrounded us. We had everything we needed within the home. Only draw back is the road leading to the house. Thankfully I have a 4 wheel drive truck, so we didn't have any issues on the very rocky road.
If you are looking for a luxury cabin for 5-8 members in Broken Bow 3 minutes away from Beavers Bend State Park, this is it!
My family of 5 had a wonderful time here despite bad weather. The host went the extra mile to check the weather and let me know the safest time to drive before we left. She also mentioned that the view is beautiful even in the rain, which was true.
The cabin itself is in top shape and has all the luxury amenities of a smart home. Despite this, there is plenty of hardwood to appeal to the ‘cabin aesthetic’.
I can’t end the review without mentioning the deck. It was stunning and leads you right into the woods. There is a beautiful pool, but we weren’t able to swim in it because we aren’t in pool season yet.
My husband, children, and I would love to visit again in the future. I highly recommend it for location, aesthetics, and comfort!

Sadly Disappointed girls trip ruin
The houses was very nice and clean but the reasons for the rating was that when we booked we expected to have access to the pools which is why we decided to book. Our complaint is that we were never told that the pool would not be available. If we had known this we would have never booked the house. We also had problems with jacuzzi in which we had to continue to fill with water. The outside table in which we were going to have western dinner was warped and wobbly so we could not eat or use the table. Upstairs bedroom were king bed was located had a dirty comforter set on it..The other complaint was that when we arrived at cabin which was around 7:30 it was very difficult not to mention scary to drive our vehicles onto property. I realy think that there should have been some lights along the road to prevent accidents or damages to vehicle. Overall the house was beautiful but it ruin our weekend but we made the best out of it. It put a damper on what we were trying to achieve especially with us being out of school for over 35 years and we were wanting to recreateour themes.
The cabin is nestled away, so you don’t feel like you’re on top of your neighbor. 4x4 or AWD is a must. Would love to come back in summer when pool is up and running. My family had a great spring break.
Fantastic home and experience! Nice and secluded but not a far drive off the main road. Beautiful lot, tall trees everywhere. Super peaceful and the home was very clean and had every amenity you would need.
Took our grown children and grandchildren for 4th of July. We rented two different places and would meet up at Bear trap and grandchildren had a ball swimming and eating. We cooked outWe took them kayaking State park Wonderful time
