Welcome to the "wasp season" from November to December and early spring! During chilly nights and early mornings, followed by warm days, wasps tend to gather on rooftops in search of warmth. While it doesn't necessarily mean there's a wasp nest in the house, they are essentially in hibernation mode, seeking cozy spots.
Generally, they won't bother you much, but we kindly ask you to keep the cabin doors and windows shut to prevent them from entering. Just a heads-up: there's wasp spray conveniently located under the kitchen sink in case you need it, but do not spray over the furniture!
Stay buzz-free and enjoy your time in the cabin!
Please note that this is a forested area and there are times when the Oklahoma Forestry Service enforces a burning ban in the area. Fines can be upwards of $1000. Please check online for the current burn ban status before using the outdoor firepit.

We had a great time. Cabin was nice. Had a couple issues and they were fixed right away. Go to the drive through safari, you won’t be disappointed. The lake is beautiful
This cabin was amazing! We had the best time relaxing in the hot tub and around the fire pit. The cabin was stocked with everything we could have needed. Don’t hesitate to stay here, we can’t wait to come back! Thank you Nick!
Just what we needed. We love coming to Hochatown and this cabin did not disappoint. We loved the outdoor deck, fireplace, double master bedrooms. Everything was perfect and we cant wait to go back!
Broken bow is my favorite getaway for recharging and relaxing. The woodsy views everywhere are so beautiful, and it is within driving distance.
Cabin was gorgeous, and we enjoyed views from every room, playing games, cooking together and finding new places in town and returning to some favorites from previous trips. We definitely will return to this cabin. Hosts were so attentive to details and easy to communicate with.
The Cabin is beautiful and well appointed! The amenities are top notch and all in working order. The beds were very comfortable, I slept so well! Our grandsons especially liked the coziness of the built in bunk beds in the very large loft upstairs. The area is quiet and the fall foliage was just starting to fade, but still stunning. I happily recommend this cabin, with all of the amenities we only ventured out to go to Beavers Bend State Park, to enjoy the fall colors, winding roads, and Rainbow Trout in the well stocked lake. Perfect setting for creating memories that last! Thanks for making everything so nice!
The hosts communicated frequently ensuring a smooth stay. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. It is in a neighborhood but tucked away a little more from the road and other cabins.
This Cabin is alot bigger than advertised. The setup is perfect and has everything you need! The property manager was great and very helpful. I would definitely recommend staying.
We couldn’t have picked a better stay for our family vacation. When you first pull onto the property, I guarantee you that you’ll be shocked at how large the cabin is! 10/10

Nice private, quiet setting. Enjoyed my stay.
The cabin had a great layout. Everything was clean and tidy. Having the lights on at arrival with music playing was wonderful. The hosts were great at communicating. The location was incredibly convenient to activities and restaurants. The family of deer visiting throughout my stay were fun to watch. The property (even the outdoor areas) are private in large part due to being in the woods (other cabins can't be fully seen).
Did have a problem with the heater not working and while the hosts were very quick to respond, it unfortunately could not be fixed during my stay. Obviously, not being able to control the temperature of the cabin wasn't ideal.
While it might not matter to some, the water pressure was top notch.
I would definitely stay with these hosts again.
It was a very nice place. The air conditioner started going out. The property manager was quick to send us to another cabin that was just as nice. Great owners! Highly recommend!

Great!
Once again we had a wonderful time. Definitely will be back late spring. Thanks for the memories.
I booked this cabin for my family of 4 and our friends, also a family of 4. The 2 master bedrooms were perfect for us parents, while the kids enjoyed the loft area, with so much space. We utilized everything the cabin offered and had an amazing time. The location was perfect. It was a short drive into town, but far enough back to where it wasn't off of a busy road. The co host was great to work when I had trouble with my code while checking in. He responded immediately and got us in the cabin so we could enjoy our mini Spring Break vacation.
