"Historical building which is extremely well maintained and contemporary inside. Really good check with essential information only required. Single room was fine with great shower and tea and coffee making facilities. Hotel has a restaurant in a lovely open dining room. The menu is not too long but with plenty of choice, offers good value and presentation of the food was of a really high standard. The service was excellent with really enthusiastic well trained staff. Breakfast was exceptional with huge choice. Few hotels have made me feel quite as welcomed and valued. It transpires the hotel is owned by a charitable group that give young adult with special educational needs their first job. Clearly a great deal of effort goes into to training the staff to overcome the difficulties they have. Great experience loved everything about it."

"Wir waren zu fünft mit unserem Hund hier und waren rundum begeistert. Die Ausstattung ist wirklich außergewöhnlich – es fehlt einfach an nichts! Das gesamte Haus ist wunderschön und mit viel Liebe zum Detail maritim eingerichtet.Die Küche ist weit über den Standard hinaus ausgestattet: Eierkocher, Back- und Auflaufformen und vieles mehr sind vorhanden. Besonders toll fanden wir auch die kleine Vorratskammer mit Dingen, die man vielleicht einmal vergessen hat. Für Familien gibt es Fahrräder, Spiele und sogar Sandspielzeug.Die Terrasse mit direktem Meerblick und die Dachterrasse sind traumhaft. Auch die Whirlpool-Badewanne und die Sauna haben wir sehr genossen.Die Lage ist perfekt: Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und die Hafenpromenade sind nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt. Durch die nahegelegene Schnellstraße erreicht man außerdem schnell viele schöne Ausflugsziele.Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin war von Anfang an super. Sie ist sehr freundlich, sympathisch und hat immer schnell auf unsere Fragen geantwortet.Wir können das Ferienhaus absolut weiterempfehlen und würden selbst sehr gerne wiederkommen. Wir haben uns mit der ganzen Familie und unserem Hund sehr wohlgefühlt und eine wunderschöne Zeit gehabt.Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt und die herzliche Kommunikation! "

"Wir waren eine Woche zu siebt in dieser Unterkunft und es hatten noch locker 4 Personen Platz. ( vom Gefühl) die Umgebung ist top, eine kleine Siedlung mit vielen Familien. Das Haus ist überaus gut ausgestattet, teils waren wir völlig überfordert, weil man Dinge da hatte die man nicht mal zuhause hat. Hier und da merkt man natürlich das dies ein Haus für eine hohe Anzahl an Personen ist und auch guter Verkehr herrscht. Jedoch hat das uns in keinsterweise gestört. Am Anfang hatten wir ein Anliegen, woraufhin sich die Gastgeberin unverzüglich gemeldet hat und direkt auch Lösungsvorschläge bieten konnte. Das sind wir so nicht gewohnt und müssen das mit 5 Sternen bewerten. Absolutes Kompliment!!! Die Umgebung ist sehr schön! Kleine Bar, Restaurant, Hundestrand und Wassersport im direkten Umfeld. Jedoch konnte man auch einfach nur beim Grillen entspannt auf einer der beiden Terrassen sitzen und grillen. Die Sauna und auch der Whirpool funktionierten einwandfrei und es sind sogar DVD‘s und etwas Kinderspielzeug vorhanden. Wir können das Haus und die Gastgeberin nur weiter empfehlen und werden mit Sicherheit wieder kommen."

"The hotel has an incredible view over the Förde. The terrasse is great for enjoying the sunset and a nightcap. The location is a beautiful 20 minute walk to the harbor and downtown restaurants. Breakfast was complete and fresh with attentive and friendly staff. We will be back."
