"The traditional English breakfast was well worth the wait for being cooked to order, probably the best cooked breakfast I've had in years! And a nice selection of buffet items as well. In October the parking wasn't an issue, but I can imagine its more problematic at busy times of year. The building is nearly 200 years old so I can forgive the creaky floorboards, but the bed we had was also very creaky which was a little annoying. Overall it was excellent value for money and I would stay again."
"The room was very clean and the location very quiet. We were travelling for an event and had to get up very early so missed out on the breakfast. The room was perfect for what we needed, the bed comfortable and we slept well. It was great value for money and we would stay here again."
"Customer Service was fantastic from start to finish. Breakfast was delicious. Room was a little cold, but when we mentioned it, they revolved straight away.
Restaurant was closed, due to lack of staff, but plenty of local options
The room was OK,but headboard was solid and hurts wgen you head but it."
