"Excellent location, Quiet. Kind staff, beautiful view, beautiful room and clean, very nice breakfast. Superb pool area and terrasse overlooking the Douro Valley. I highly recommend. Only downside is the bathroom and toilet is in the bedroom open area. However, there are other bathrooms for more privacy in a well decorated cabin outside the room. "

"We had the exclusief appartement, that was to the back, and that was really nice and silent. The complex is a bit more up the mountain and not that "next" to the water/center what was perfect for us! (more silence). And even then everything in near you, supermarket at walking distance, or just a 5-10 min drive to the river. Plenty of restaurants, hikes, activities to do. Rooms where nice and spacious, kitchen was equipped with all you needed. And it was clean. There is a parking garage below...

"Everything about Quinta do Bosque is exceptional — from the warm reception when we arrived to the stunning views of the Douro Valley mountains from the pool. "We stayed at this hotel, having experienced the hotel chain in Castelo. It was a similar standard but not quite as good. Room and bathroom was smaller, breakfast room smaller, possibility an older property. Still comfortable room and bed and good value for money, a 15 minute walk into tbe centre "
