The very FIRST thing I noticed upon entering the lobby was the wonderful aroma!!! I asked if they sold it and the hotel rep said no, that it was proprietary to the hotel. They must have it piped throughout the whole place because even the halls and rooms smelled this good, and our room was in a separate building from the lobby. VERY, Very quaint and comfortable place! Would seek out this hotel if we come back this way!!

I cannot say enough good things about The Session!
Wonderful hotel! So friendly and welcoming. King suite was so clean and comfortable we were blown away. The only thing I would say to fellow travelers. If you are got to want to sample the restaurant next door make reservations. Do not think you will get a table quickly.

Very cool and unique property. The lady at the front desk was very sweet and nice. The only problem I had, was the we showed up for check in at 4pm. We had to be at the Paramount down the street at 6pm. When we checked in, we were informed that our room just needed to be inspected before we could go there. We ended up sitting in the parking lot for an hour before they finally gave us our room keys at 5pm. We had to rush to try to get ready and ended up being 15 minutes late to our show because of it. We came from North Carolina for my Wife's birthday, and while we have enjoyed our trip so far, the late check in put a damper on our evening.

Bristol's Best
The Sessions Hotel in Bristol is easily one of the best hotels that I have ever stayed in. The parking is ample and attached to the hotel. The check-in process was quick and seamless. The front desk staff was professional, friendly, and knowledgable. The room keys are super cool and look like casettes. The room was extremely clean. The floors appeared recently vacuumed, I couldn't find dust anywhere (even behind furniture), and every surface looked clean enough to eat off of. The rooms are music themed. There are microphone lights, music themed artwork, and framed song lyrics. The beds are comfy and inviting. There were no issues with any light switches, outlets, remotes, air conditioning, or the tv. The tv is easy to plug into if you have a firestick, chromecast, gaming console, or other similar device. The bathroom was both beautiful and immaculate, one of the cleanest bathrooms I've ever had in a hotel. The shower had both a stationary head and detachable head, which was a first for me. The toilet is separated from the rest of the bathroom by a door which is great for privacy. The restaurant attached to the hotel also had some great food. I recommend the pulled pork. If I am ever in the Bristol area I will be sure to stay at The Sessions again. 10/10 Highly recommened.

Great, but….
Room was beautiful. We had a queen suite. But it went down hill a bit from there. The walls were paper thin and we had to listen to neighbors tv all night. Also we requested room service (towels trash etc) and they did not do it. We had full trash and no bathroom supplies by end of trip.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Sessions Hotel. Bed was amazing and staff was helpful and friendly. Room was done in period correct decor and very comfortable. Only minor issue was that only ice machine and ice buckets are in the lobby and you have to locate then hold your mouth right to make the machine work properly.

Awesome unique stay!
This is our third stay at The Sessions Hotel. We love the rustic turned modern look. It has always been clean. The beds and pillows are confrontable. Staff always friendly and helpful. The restaurant being on site is very convenient and has good quality food. They do not have restaurant room service but that has never been a issue for us. This is our go to hotel when in the Tri-city area.

The hotel is really cool. Seems to have been built on the bones of an old industrial building or music studio. divided into three separate buildings which have themes. Staff was super helpful, the room was stunning, The only downside is that there seems to be a homeless problem in Bristol and they congregate at a gas station next door to the property.

This hotel iwalls are like paper - the drunk people next to me would not stop being loud. I called the front desk - they did nothing - then the drunk people started ‘having relations.” I called the front desk, and they did nothing - no offer to move rooms - no one went to the other room to tell them to be quiet - I had to leave with no sleep at 3AM - they knew this and did nothing - I refuted the charge, and they fought it - they are thieves - the service was nonexistent. It’s shocking and disturbing. I’m very upset.

We loved our overnight stay in Bristol! The hotel had an eclectic, original country music charm. Recording studio turned hotel made for a fun experience. You can even ask to borrow their record player from the front desk. I don’t want to ruin the surprise, but each room has a unique charm. We also loved that they had a baby crib for our 1 year old and assisted with us parking up front as we were traveling with a uhaul. Kind and supportive front desk. Beautiful showers and convenient dining. Take a stroll down the dividing line between VA and TN to check out dining options. We loved Vivian’s Table, but there are other great options available including a delicious Southern bbq restaurant adjacent to the hotel…we just have a little one and we’re up bright and early for an early weekend breakfast ;) Enjoy this gem!
