Perched above the riverbank with sweeping views of the South Holston River and surrounding Blue Ridge Mountains, Bufflehead Cabin offers a tranquil escape with an elevated perspective. This modern two-bedroom, two-bath cabin features thoughtful design and unmatched scenery. (Max 4 guests)

Entry Level: Master bedroom includes a Queen-size bed with a private bathroom. 2nd bedroom includes a Queen-size bed and a twin XL Murphy bed.   2nd full bathroom is in common area with stackable washer & dryer. Loft / sitting area includes another twin XL Murphy bed. 

Downstairs includes a well appointed kitchen, dining and living areas.  Enjoy cool mornings or golden-hour evenings by the outdoor fireplace on the covered deck—an ideal spot to watch rising trout or drifting mist over the water. Inside, guests can relax with a Smart TV and complimentary Hulu + Live TV.

Due to its hillside location, Bufflehead may not be suitable for young children or those with limited mobility.

Great property!

fantastic property, really nicely appointed, wonderful location right on the river. We were there to fish and it has great access to the river which is wadeable when not generating and there are other streams in the area. lots of fun restaurants in Bristol which isn't far at all. owner's were very nice and very helpful in our planning. looking forward to going back!

Birthday Weekend

Paula and Bruce were wonderful hosts. When we arrived it was pouring rain and dark so we had trouble locating the cabin. We called Paula and she stayed on the phone with us while Bruce drove down to personally show us where the cabin was located. He even stayed to make sure we did not need any help. The next day we asked where we could get more firewood and Bruce promptly refilled the firewood for us. The cabin has everything you could possibly need and more. We really enjoyed the outdoor fireplace and grill. This will definitely be a location we would recommend.
