Family cabin on Lake Superior with beach + 30 acres of woods

  • 1922 Cabin on Lake Superior lovingly cared for and upgraded by the same family for over 100 years. The property includes a main cabin with kitchen and full bath plus two additional sleeper cabins with attached full baths and laundry facilities. The property includes 200 feet of sand beach on Lake Superior and 30 wooded acres with trails across the road from the cabin for private hiking. The beach has fantastic sunset views, and the shallow bay warms up to very comfortable temperatures on hot summer days. Cabin is just down the road from Bay Mills casino and Wild Bluff golf course, about 20 minutes from Sault Ste Marie, an hour from St Ignace boat docks for Mackinaw Island and an hour from Tahquamenon Falls. Other points of interest near by include Iroquois point and Whitefish Bay lighthouses, State Parks, and National Forest areas. This is a fantastic base for a host of natural and historic adventures in the area, or just to laze on the beach and grill with family and friends. Sunsets are a must see!!!!

If you are looking for a real cabin experience this is for you! The main Cabin Wigwam had plenty of room for all my grandchildren to sleep with nice open space. The Rainbow and Papoose cabins so nice! The kitchen was well stocked for my cooking needs and was so happy to have provided paper plates and utensils. The highlight was the beautiful property! Surrounded with woods with pathways to the lake. So much fun swimming in the lake. Beautiful beach for long walks and bonfires. This is a trip my family will remembered forever. Thanks for sharing your amazing home. Lisa Smith
