Beautiful log cabin in the woods with a hot tub. 5 min walk to a quiet beach.

Massive open floor plan with a huge covered porch overlooking Lake Superior. FULL GAME ROOM with pool table, ping pong, air hockey, stick hockey, or foose ball located in the basement next to the INDOOR SAUNA. 450 sqft screened in porch with lots of seating, open the doors and step out onto the patio with even more seating around a bonfire or the 6 person HOT TUB under the stars. Catch a sunset or walk the shores of Superior down to Iroquois Point Lighthouse only 1/2 a mile away. Take a swim at Monocle Lake, just a 5 min. walk from the front porch. Link up with the TRAILHEADS for miles of exploration for hiking, biking, snowmobiling, or side-by-sides. If boating, golfing, or gambling suit your fancy, just 7 miles away you can find all 3 at Bay Mills Resort and Casino/ Wild Bluff Golf Course. The monocle lake boat launch is only a 2 mile drive to the opposite end of the lake. Two high quality mountain bikes are available for use as well. Sault Ste. Marie is 30 min away, with lots of tourist shops, the Soo locks, and a wide variety of dining down on portage avenue.

The pictures dont do justice. Gorgeous, clean, big cabin for our family vacation! Had plenty of everything to use; cooking supplies with a fully loaded kitchen, bathroom supplies, with endless towels, laundry room essentials, hot tub accessories, so many games and movies, and the basement is so big full of so many games!! We have went on man family vacations, and this cabin was by far my favorite! So roomy, plus a garage if need :) very fast check in and out, and great communication for owners! My family enjoyed every bit of it.

Lake State Graduation

The lodge was beautiful. We had all that we needed, and everything was very well organized and labeled. The beach nearby was amazing. We had it all to ourselves and enjoyed looking at all the interesting rocks. The sunset was amazing.

Large Family getaway

Stayed 6 nights and enjoyed them all. Walked into fresh cookies and felt very welcomed. Cabin had everything we needed.Teens and adults enjoyed the games, hot tub and fire. We all enjoyed the short walk to beach on Lake Superior and definitely enjoyed the sunsets. We spent some time on Monocle Lake as well swimming and kayaking. Cabin was great and large enough for all of us, and the screened porch was the perfect place for coffee in the morning.

Perfect get away for Mother’s Day and a Birthday!

This home was beautiful for our family week get away. We were very surprised with the welcome goodies from the local bakery. Very impressed with how stocked the kitchen was with cookware and other items! The sauna and hot tub was a hit with our group. Would definitely recommend this house and we would love to come back! Thanks again!

Monocle Lake cabin

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin. We enjoyed the pristine beaches and the hot tub under the stars. A perfect place to gather with family. Would love to return someday.

Pleasant stay with family

The cabin was a very nice place to gather with our extended family. It was well stocked and had everything we needed and then some. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit after our day trips to the surrounding attractions. Being able to use the garage was an added bonus. Thank you for making our vacation so memorable.

Absolutely beautiful Home

I highly recommend staying here if you are thinking about being anywhere in the area. I rented it for 1 week and ended up renting it for another week because it just felt like home. Total 5 Star place and Host.

The cabin was very clean inside and out. The interior has great eye appeal. It had everything we needed. Great location to many trails, beach, lake or casino. We enjoyed the fire pit every evening. We would definitely stay here again if we visit the area again.

Wonderful Family Vacation in the UP

We stayed for a week with our family. We really enjoyed our stay...from the hot tub, walking to the beach, and visiting other destinations in the UP that are in close vicinity. The house has everything you could need. Trent and Kristine were great to communicate with. We would love to come back!

Fabulous house for families

We had our annual family get away here this year. There was plenty to do. The house is well equipped for children and adults alike. It’s a beautiful log home that was spacious enough to not feel like we were on top of each other. The screened in porch was a great place to sit in the morning and relax at night. I highly recommend this house for families with children. Love this place and hope to return often.

Family vacation for the final farewell for Papa

This is a wonderful property. Great for a family or large group, very well laid out with every convenience. I loved the screened in porce, the kids loved having the pool table and games down stairs, plenty of outlets for all the electronics. The hot tub and sauna were wonderful. Luxury and comfortable was the sentiment expressed by all. They thought of everything.

Gorgeous house, nice location, perfect getaway!

We are a group of friends that has been vacationing in the UP for a couple of years now, and this is probably our favorite rental so far. We loved the big, open first floor, the very well-stocked kitchen, the comfortable bedrooms, and the hot tub. We didn't even get a chance to use the game room or sauna... Next year, maybe! We also appreciated the proximity to the lovely public beach, and nice views from Iroquois Point lighthouse.

Canadian Thanksgiving in Brimley, MI

Our 3-generation family travelled to Brimley, MI to spend Thanksgiving weekend with our son, who is attending a local college. Trent & Kristine's cottage was a perfect spot for us. The cottage was stunning, well equipped and spotless! We enjoyed exploring the area during the day, and cozying up by the fireplace in the evenings. Trent and Kristine were very quick to answer any questions we had and made up feel very welcome in their cabin. Highly recommend! 10/10

Spacious cabin with a rustic feel yet modern amenities

Our family had a wonderful time at this beautiful log cabin home located so conveniently to many UP destinations. We have a family of 7 ages 4 thru 67 and there was so much for everyone. We loved having the little touches like condiments and spices, a variety of kitchen appliances and an awesome blackstone grill. An added bonus was the Brimley 4th of July hometown celebration and fireworks. Owners were easy to reach and responded right away to questions. We highly recommend this rental.

Beautiful home

This house is beautiful, clean, and stocked with everything you need. I like that the kitchen cabinets are labeled to help find what you need. The location is great for day trips to all the popular destinations. Our family enjoyed the hot tub and our 12year granddaughter loved playing pool and ping pong in the evenings. My favorite part is the screened in porch. We were able to keep the doors open in the master bedroom and hear the waves of Lake Superior while falling asleep.

Extended family gathering

Our extended family of 15 thoroughly enjoy our 3 night stay. We had lots of space. We loved spending time on the screened in porch and the hot tub. We had a blast swimming in Lake Superior which is a close walk and absolutely gorgeous beach. We thought it would be rocky since it is rocky down the road at the lighthouse, but it was a lovely sandy beach. Trent and Kristine were very good hosts. They communicated with us; had a stocked house for any minor things you may need for your stay. If we were back in the Brimley area, we would definitely stay there again.

Loved it!

The owners undersold how great the place is. Pictures don’t do it justice. The house is beautiful, hosts are gracious and thought of all our needs. Whitefish Bay is amazing. Beautiful sandy beaches, clear, clean water and much warmer than we expected. Owners provided all the toys that made for water fun - kayak, paddle boards and sand toys. Great time. We will be back! Thank you.

Everything you need in one place!

It is an outstanding log cabin, just up on a bluff from Lake Superior—great views in the winter. Snowmobile trail access is just 3/4 mile down the road. The place had everything you would need and then some. It's like they turned the keys over to their private home. Everything was immaculate, and we even had a wheelchair ramp in the garage with a zero-entry shower for our friend. Special treats await your stay—great Wi-Fi for those who have had to work for a couple of hours. Young adults enjoyed the basement gaming center. It was just a wonderful stay, all around 5 stars in my book. Thank you! We will be back.
