A less traveled road allowed us the comfort of taking walks and enjoying the scenery. Nice kept yard for our daughter and Great Nieces/nephew to play. Close to parks and stores. "You can spend the day canoeing on the lake or off-roading with you ATV or Jeep on the surrounding trails. Nights under the stars by the camp fire listening to nature sounds. I wanted a relaxing trip off the beaten path and this place delivered. The cabin had everything needed for my stay, right down to the boat shoes and bug spray. Host did a great job setting the place up for a truly authentic and memorable experience."

"Clean and cozy with a very well stocked kitchen and excellent views. A number of small details made this cabin homey and convenient, like lots of places to hang wet towels, board games, and a plethora of throw blankets for snuggling on the couch after a cold day of skiing. An easy 10 minute drive from Bigrock Mountain with hosts who were very responsive. And did I mention a well stocked kitchen?? Our favorite rental to date (and there have been lots). A person couldn’t possibly be disappointed...

"House is quaint. Enjoyed the wood stove after sitting on the deck playing games on a beautiful autumn day. One brave soul even took the paddle board out around the nearby island to get sunset pictures. Our host was very responsive to our questions. Would stay again if ever in Northern Maine. "This was the best lakehouse my family has ever stayed at. It was quiet, comfortable, there was a dock to swim off, a raft to swim to, it was private, it hit all the best amenities of staying at a lake. My kids want to live there now (9 and 11 years old). "If you want peace and wuiet this cabin is for you. At the end of the lake there is little noise except for the loons on the water. All the furnishings are adequate and comfortable.
