"I would recommend this hotel to anyone, excellent and helpful staff,rooms excellent and very comfortable, restaurant is fairly good cannot fault this hotel at all"

"Good for the price, with a few small quirks Stayed here for a couple of days while working and needed something cheap and decent so that’s exactly what I got. A few little things: paid parking felt unfair, shower pressure and heat weren’t amazing (but fine for the price). Also, elevator security seemed a bit loose since anyone could walk up, which might bother other solo travelers. On the plus side: staff were nice even though I reached check out much much later, lobby and furniture looked great, and the smart TV with YouTube SAVED my evenings after the rough days at work. Room was fine and comfy enough to sleep and shower. One heads up: it’s unclear if they have a restaurant in the premises, maybe staff could mention it just in case and the wifi connection is a little weak Overall, it’s a solid budget choice if you’re not picky"

"Large clean room, very comfortable. Dinner superb. Breakfast adequate without being outstanding. Always enjoy staying here."

"We were only staying one night and I wasn't going to review as we got in late and left early but I wanted people to know what to expect. The sheets are clean and the beds were comfy but there are dubious stains all over including the walls. The decor is very tired and some of the furnishings look like recycled things from the 60s. As for cleanliness there is mould on the bottom of the provided shower gel containers, the underneath of the sink was filthy."

"The staff member on reception was excellent - Lauren. Breakfast was good, lots of staff ensuring the buffet always stocked and food was fresh. Bar is dated and house white wine dreadful. Room comfortable if slightly dated, bed comfortable."

"We loved the stay at Thainstone. Extremely good value considering the pool and gym are included. The room was described as 9 square metres. It was much bigger than this. Breakfast was very good"
