If you're looking for a secluded deluxe mountain cabin to accommodate your large group, this lovely home is for you. And to top it off, you'll only be a mile from the slopes!

This home boasts a huge wrap-around deck and has unique structural lines. Inside, the vaulted ceilings with exposed beams and floor-to-ceiling windows give the living space an expansive feel. Couple that with the wood plank walls and beautiful wood floors, and you have a spacious retreat that exudes warmth and welcomes family fun and togetherness.

The massive windows in the comfortable living room on the main floor allow you to stay close to nature while being inside where it's warm thanks to the attractive, flat-rock fireplace. The dining area is an extension of the main living area and comfortably seats eight guests at a striking black wood table.

The kitchen is just off the dining area and features stylish black cabinets and grey countertops. It has standard appliances, as well as a slow cooker, a mixer, and a waffle iron. There's also a breakfast bar that seats three, as well as a high chair for your tiniest traveler.

An open, wrought iron spiral staircase takes you downstairs to the den, where you can watch movies or play games, which are provided. In addition to board games for kids and adults alike, this home also has a Pack-N-Play. Also provided is wood for the woodstove, and there's a wet bar for adult-focused fun.

This three-bedroom (plus a loft), three-bathroom home sleeps eight adults comfortably, 14 guests maximum. Each of the three bedrooms has a queen-size bed. Up in the loft, you'll find four twin beds. And there are two additional sleeper sofas in the den. The three full baths give you all plenty of space to tend to morning and evening rituals with ease.

You'll also find five cable TVs, free WiFi, and an on-site washer and dryer for your added convenience. In the winter months, you'll enjoy the two-car garage that's available for your use.

There is an abundance of things to do in Brian Head, regardless of the season. In the summer, explore the area and take a hike on your own, or sign up for one led by a local ranger. Fishermen, bird watchers, and mountain bikers will be in heaven here. If that's not enough, rafting is available, and there's a zipline, too! In the winter, go tubing, snowboarding, or skiing. You can also take scenic SkyLift rides on the weekends. And the good news: all activities are within a one- to five-mile radius of your home away from home.

The property is dirty and run down. The pictures are not accurate to reality. Dust on the windows could be measured with a ruler. Cob webs hang everywhere like Dracula’s Castle! Flies and moths everywhere. My 15 year old son was going to sleep in the loft but was creeped out when he crawled in bed to find a dead bee under his pillow. The deck is run down with no chairs to sit on just a rusted out grill. Beer cans are positioned on the trees outback to be shot at! There is also a mildew smell throughout the cabin. However, the location is great.

Great location!!
Overall a good experience. The location and views were great!! The beds were comfortable. For a house that sleeps 14 it would’ve been nice to have a few more comfortable seating options for evening movies and dining. The patio was enormous but we would’ve liked some comfortable outdoor seating for stargazing at night. The house was generally clean though unusually dusty for a mountain cabin. There wasn’t enough TP stocked for a full house, but thankfully the general store was nearby. It was also hard to find the thermostat, and we were a bit warm. The kitchen was well stocked which is a huge plus. Overall we give it 4 stars because the house was comfortable, the location was fantastic, and we had everything we needed to cook our meals.

House with a Wasp Problem
The internet is garbage, it works when you don't need it and doesn't work when you do need it. Plan on doing your online activity using mobile data..... if you can get a cell signal. There were no instructions left on cabin temperature control. After sweltering the first night we found the thermostat in the hallway on the lowest level of the cabin and turned it down as low as it could go. There is no a/c. The place where the thermostat is located is the coldest in the house and the upper levels will be too warm to sleep if you don't turn it down. If you're a light sleeper the constant on and off of the furnace fan will keep you awake. Kitchen and bathroom cleanliness was acceptable. There were open boxes of cereal left in the cupboard above the fridge. That didn't seem like a good idea. The grill on the microwave is held on by duct tape. The microwave is old but seems to work ok. Cleanliness of other rooms wasn't great. The house could definitely use a thorough deep cleaning including moving all the furniture and vacuuming under it and next to the walls. (There was confetti of some sort behind the sofas.) Not all table surfaces were pristine. They could use a good cleaning. Now to the worst part. Again this is for summer dwellers. Some windows had been left ajar by previous residents and some windows had no screens. The house had become a wasp nest. We killed 12 and there were others dead on the floors, under the beds, and on the window sills. I called the Vacasa help line and they said they had sprayed outside the week before. They don't spray indoors. We closed all the windows and that seemed to help the problem although we still had one or two to kill every morning. They tend to be attracted to the large windows in the main room. (I wonder if they are entering through the fireplace.) Fortunately, we found the fly swatter on top of the refrigerator. It just required one or two intrepid souls to take care of the killing. To Vacasa's credit they did send someone to check for wasp nests outside the house. They didn't report back to me the results of that check. There were no instructions on how to use the key pad to enter the house. There is definitely some maintenance that could be done on the house. A closet door was broken. A paper towel was stuffed in a hole in a screen. There was no window covering in the master bedroom.

It needs some updates to bring out more the best of it
The location was great, the place was clean but it lacks some updates to make it more comfortable. There is no AC unit and there was no fans offer but one that was broken. The beds are in need of replacement, they are solid hard and uncomfortable. There was no curtains in one of the rooms in the main floor. The big door from the kitchen had the door mesh in the floor, broken. The windows were also missing the mesh and we were not able to open them for air to flow. If you take the time to make this updates the experience will be excellent. Will visit this house again with the hopes that the updates will be in place.

Property was NOT cleaned
Upon our arrival we spent over an hour , recleaning the property. (Hair in the shower drains, body hair on toilets, trash under the bed, blood on the pillow, stains and residue left on couches, crumbs on the floor, counters and dining tables were not cleaned. Grease on pans , disgusting coffeemaker, crushed food residue on floors, dust on counters) I have reached out to a chat representative next day and she did not help me to feel any ease to our stay. I was not offered a new property.. we did not come from a short distance. We had to fly into Nevada and then drive almost 4 hrs to reach our destination. This cabin definitely was misleading . After a long flight, my guests and I were on high stress and felt disgusted to stay in a uncleany property. It was beyond unacceptable and displeasing. WE WERE MORTIFIED

Okay Place But We Question The Value
We've been renting properties every winter in Brianhead for over 10 years. This was okay but certainly not among the best and we don't feel that the value (price paid for what we got) was really there. There were only 3 spaces available (despite 5 being advertised) for parking as the garage was unavailable because a snow plow buried the door (about 4' high against the doors). Luckily we only had 3 vehicles for 10 people. The property appears nicer in the photos than it does in reality. It really needs a deep clean. There are a bunch of cobwebs throughout the house, and the previous clean was not really thorough as there was popcorn under the coffee table, and some cotton balls and tissues under a chair in a bedroom that were visible -- just to name a few things. The kitchen has a mismatch of old pots, pans, dishes, cups, utensils. I reached out prior to ask about the availability of a crock pot & its size as well as the coffee maker. I did receive a response prior to arriving which was great. Upon arrival the hot pads were not laundered from previous visits (extremely gross) and were in a kitchen drawer. There were only 2 dishwasher tablets to clean dishes over 3 days/nights and when I asked about getting a couple more, I was told that 2 was the appropriate allotment. We had a group of 10 so I had to wash dishes a couple times just to reuse the dishes and utensils again for meals. Queen beds were lumpy and uncomfortable and the sheets and bedding were cheap. There wasn't much extra - no additional towels (if needed) or sheets (if there was a need). Couldn't start the dishwasher or the wash machine for the cleaning crew prior to leaving because there was no laundry soap/dishwasher detergent. There was also 1 bottle of 409 with about 2 Tablespoons of cleaner in it. Also, there should be instructions on some of the things like the heating system - as the thermostat in the living room controls the fireplace and the thermostat in the basement apparently controls the house's heater. That said, the living room was cozy and had new nice couches and it provided us a great place for family game time at night as well as Ping Pong games. The skiing was good and the family time was awesome. Overall, for us, it is really a value issue. For the money per night, this really was below standards that we have been used to in Brianhead.
