**BEWARE of TICKS/BUGS inside BED! **DIRTY! MUSTY SMELL! After one hour of checking in, our 7yr old daughter FOUND TICK crawling in bed and was so scared to sleep here. I used my flashlight to look for more bugs fearing the worst bedbugs or more ticks and FOUND MORE BUGS under mattress(more ticks)around windows(various bugs)cobwebs around fixtures. Broken fan in bathroom was so loud it would wake everyone up. I feared it would wake up neighbors in our building. Sounded like someone banging pot and pan together. Our kids had trouble sleeping as my daughter ended up sleeping on a recline chair and my son sleeping on the couch. With the lack of sleep our snowboarding plans were cut short. We contacted host about bugs with an attached video we took of the tick crawling in the bed and asking if we could check out next morning. The host told us the Ticks are hitchhikers.. basically blaming us for the bugs being there. Host said, "I assume you took care of the bugs." and then reminded us there are extra linens in the closet. I do not plan ever staying at the Ridges especially #D2. It was very clear they never did a deep clean. I saw crumbs in drawers, dirty dishes that we washed all by hand to be able to use. No dishwasher. We have stayed at many places in Brian Head. Very disappointing to find places to stay with a Host attached along with their pricey service fees without duty of care for the guests.
