Garage opens up on both sides great place to hangout if weather comes in. Couch pulls out to a double bed in living room. The bedroom has a queen size bed.

The house was very clean and equipped with everything my sister and I needed for the 2 nights we stayed. But it does need a little TLC could be a very adorable place.

A hidden gem on the lake

Perfect !!

Owner went out of his way to get the dock in the water so I didn't have to trailer my boat all weekend. House is super clean and there is everything you need for a great stay. Highly recommend. I'll be back for sure.

Very Quiet lake front property!

House was very clean, and was furnished with all the necessities one would need for a pleasant stay. House is on a cul-de-sac. Listing and pictures were accurate. We had a nice stay on Oneida lake.

Cute little house

We rent the large home across the street each year for our family reunion and just needed a place for a few more people to sleep. This place is nothing fancy, but served its purpose. Nice yard and lake view, plenty of parking.

The location couldn’t have been better. We had to shovel out the all the exits (in case we needed them) and lucky we had a shovel with us as there were none there. Other than that, the place was perfect for three old ice fishermen.

Easy Lake Access and Beautiful View

House was clean and comfortable, and everything was in order. Host was pleasant and friendly, but not intrusive. Location was perfect! Lake view + easy lake access. Two kayaks (+ two bicycles). What more can you ask for? It was a beautiful vacation, and we hope to come back again.

Small, quiet and perfect!

This is my second time staying at this property. We came back because, well, we really like Tom's place. It's not uber fancy. If that's what you want, maybe look elsewhere. However, if you're looking for a cute home in a quiet and secluded neighborhood that's clean and has everything you need for a nice getaway, this is your spot. I'm sure we'll be back again.

This is our 2nd summer. The only minor complaint is the grass needed to be mowed & we ran out of propane for the grill. Also, I think some utensils & kitchen items were missing, can opener, spoons… Otherwise, Tom is great along with location of the camp.

Absolutely Fabulous!

This house was perfect for us! A water view from every window of the house, and near the end of a dead-end road so it was very quiet. A well equipped kitchen for cooking, the room darkening shades were great for sleeping and could be fully lifted to let in the sunlight and nature views. Couches & bed were very comfortable, and the fireplace added a really nice touch. The owner was extremely easy and pleasant to communicate with. We watched the solar eclipse over beautiful Lake Oneida, and on other days checked out the sights in the area. We've been renting vacation houses for over 30 years and this was quite possibly the nicest - would rent it again in a heartbeat!

Great little place a real gem

When planning a trip to Syracuse a few months ago I came across this particular listing and I'm glad I did. This house was perfect for my wife, twin 10-year-olds, and me to stay for a few days. The location was great for us as my dad lives just a couple of miles away and the rest of our friends and family were close by. The property was clean (and I'm really fussy) and included all the amenities you would need to stay a few days, towels/linens, cookware & utensils, small appliances, paper products, and a gas stove for cooking. The lake view was incredible and there is a nice deck to enjoy it from. We had some family over for a small get-together and were able to open both ends of the garage to hang out since it was raining. The property also included a folding table, several plastic chairs, and a couple of fold-out chairs that we were able to put to good use. Overall our experience here was outstanding and I wouldn't hesitate to book this property again the next time we are up visiting.

Perfect lakefront getaway

This is absolutely one of those Gems on Vrbo - what a wonderful house, location and owner. The house listing is exactly what is appears in the pictures provided and more. Very clean and nicely kept up. There is a lovely new deck off the back where we ate a lot of our meals as well as nice fire pit in the yard - perfect for smores in the evening. We enjoyed the fireplace inside after smores for movie night with our kids - they loved everything about the house. The chair swing was their favorite spot to hang with views of the lake. We took advantage of the kayaks and the grill as well. The dock was the perfect size for us, which we used for fishing and swimming in the lake. We also ventured out into town for a couple of meals - it is a very nice lake community with lots of friendly people. It was an easy and fun vacation without the giant price tag. Thanks, Tom! I highly recommend!!
