- Nestled in the heart of the Manistee National Forest is the quaint little town of Brethren, Michigan. With a population of just over 1000 people, it is quite possibly one of the best kept secrets in the state. On the other side of the Manistee River is the humble town of Wellston, Michigan. With a slightly larger population, this area overflows with charm. Natural beauty abounds in these towns. They offer abundant activities for every season.
Northwoods Lodging offers you a “home away from home” experience. Our cabins are fully furnished and cozy. We provide you with not only a place to lay your head, but a place to make life long memories. You will find everything you need in our cabins, aside from your personal care items, to make you feel right at home.
