"Room design is nice in some parts, but does feel clustered. Some room slippers would have been nice. Bathroom design is questionable with a no door/cover shower making splashes out of the shower area (cant imagine if a plus size person would make due with it). Whilst I was able to check in early, the room was already made but the card left behind with someone else's name felt like the item was overlooked or the room was intended for someone else. Breakfast options were fantastic, good way to start the day, large selection from cold cuts to hot food. "

"We had an absolutely unforgettable stay here! From the moment we arrived, Esther made us feel so welcome with her thoughtful and caring hosting. The house itself is incredible—beautiful, cozy, and perfectly located, 15 min drive from the airport, to enjoy Tromsø and the surrounding islands. The highlight of our trip was, without a doubt, the Northern Lights. We were incredibly lucky to witness a long and stunning aurora display right from the house—and honestly, it was even better and longer than what we experienced on a guided aurora tour. Being able to watch it comfortably from the property made the experience even more magical. If you're hoping to see the aurora, this place gives you an amazing chance. Esther’s recommendations were also spot-on and really helped us make the most of our stay. We left feeling grateful for such a special experience and would recommend this place without hesitation. Truly a perfect stay! The only downside I would say is that the hot tub has a fixed price for a day. But also understandable as someone needs to be available for switching on/off. Overall a wonderful experience"

"The accommodation was fantastic, the location has amazing scenery on the waters edge and great views of Tromso. It is about a 20 minute bus ride from the airport, so ideal."

"The room was dirty, especially the toilet. There are no good views from ANY of the rooms except for the very front row as the hotel is perpendicular to the water. We had a view of sheds with a pretty mountain all the way off to the side. This is NOT worth the money. The restaurant is pretty but we spend 75USD on a burger, side of fries and desert. Extremely overpriced. We left a night early because of the uncleanliness and lack of laundry, mini fridge and just amenities in general. They give you the absolute bare minimum down to the toile paper. However, the staff was incredible and kind. They refunded us our last night which I am grateful for so we didn’t have to pay for two hotels for one night. Thank you for that. Overall, choose another accommodation, you won’t get what you need here, not even the basics. Parking was fine, don’t use their EV charger. It took about 4 hours for 50%. "
