Experience a tranquil and inviting ambiance at this comfortable retreat perfect for a relaxing & peaceful stay with a fire pit, fishing pond & hiking trail. We are located just outside the Brenham city limits. You’ll feel like you’re “in the country” yet you’ll be only 1.5m to dwntwn. We are one half mile from the High School, the Washington County Fairgrounds and 2 miles to Blinn College and Blue Bell Creameries. We are less than 2 miles away from several parks and Sports Complexes and 20 min to Round Top Antique Fest and Washington on the Brazos.

Our family home sits on 50+ beautiful acres surrounded by centuries old oak trees. You’ll experience unmatched peace and quiet, along with complete serenity, in this home.

You can expect a fully equipped Kitchen stocked with amenities selected with you in mind:

For our guests safety, we have one security camera facing the driveway and one on the back corner of the garage.

The home is furnished with a leather couch, loveseat and chair with a total of 5 power reclining seats with USB charging ports and a 55” SMART TV to just kick back and relax. Enjoy free Wi-fi, Netflix, HBOMAX, Prime Video and STARLINK internet.

Luxuriate in the comfort of the primary bedroom’s King size Sleep Number bed and a 50” SMART TV.

Bedroom #2 has 1 Queen and 1 Full bed and a projector with a Roku stick for your enjoyment.

You’ll sleep extra cool with ceiling fans in each bedroom.

You’ll love the convenience of a full size washer and dryer along with laundry detergent, bleach and dryer sheets. A full size ironing board and iron are also located in the laundry area.

Do you love antique shopping? We are only 1.5 mi away from charming downtown Brenham where you'll find quaint shops, delicious restaurants, coffee shops and a nearby brewery.

Are you an outdoorsman?
Exult in nature as you gaze out across the colorful open pastures or enjoy a relaxing walk around our secluded nature path or get your steps in on the paddle boat or cast a line in our catch & release bass and blue gill fishing pond. We now provide 3 spinning reels and 1 kid size casting reel but feel free to bring your own bait & tackle. Enjoy the breeze while sipping on your beverage of choice while relaxing on rattan chairs or rocking chairs on the covered front porch. Hear the distant moo-ing of a cow or crowing of a rooster while watching the variety of birds feed or bathe in the birdbaths. Indulge with your favorite beverage by the firepit using host-provided firewood. Weiner roasts and smores are a must with bamboo sticks provided. Cook on the charcoal grill and dine al fresco under the soothing and shady oak trees. Charcoal and wood provided.

The kids will LOVE the swings, the soccer goal, a football and soccer ball and outdoor games as well as a ping pong table and the many games and toys inside the home.

In to fitness? Yoga mats and dumbbells are provided. An outdoor gym located in the garage includes dumbbell weights, a pull up bar, an elliptical and an exercise bike. A private SOULfusion or BARRE workout is available for an additional fee.

We were in town for a pig show. Couldn’t get much closer to fairgrounds! Wonderful hosts with thoughtful touches like snacks, farm fresh eggs and ingredients for pancakes/waffles. Peaceful backyard for relaxing and beautiful pond! Will definitely stay again when in town!

Business trip

Stopped by for one night traveling between San Antonio and Houston. Nice secluded spot with small pond for fishing, we caught several and released them back for others to enjoy catching them again. The property is well maintained, very cozy and we hope to come back and do it again when in Brenham.

Lovely home not far from the city and downtown events Privacy was perfect Loved the amenities, though we didn’t have much time to venture out around on the property. All of my family was quite pleased with the stay. Book this home!!

This was an adorable place to stay! From the private fishing pond, to the paddle boat, to the s’mores over campfire, and then to The endless amenities inside the house….. this was one of our best family vacations!!

The house was very welcoming, there was lots of attention to detail. It was beautifully decorated both inside and out for the Christmas holidays. There was regular communication with the property manager. It was a great relaxing way to celebrate our anniversary!

Perfect Texas country home

This was a great little country home just on the edge of Brenham with a great piece of property and just the right amenities. While we were in town for a wedding, we spent every night at the house with aa few family members enjoying the firepit while the kids played ping pong or just ran around the large property. The owners have done a great job of decorating and providing nice little touches for their guests that really make it feel like your own vacation home. I don't know that we'll ever find ourselves in Brenham again, but if we do, I know where we'll be staying!

Wedding weekend

We came to Brenham for a wedding and stayed in this perfect house. It was so comfortable and clean and it had everything we needed. Things are so well organized and laid out with such special details. The host communicated well and was very responsive. We also appreciated the extra treats and all the amenities! We only wish we could have stayed longer and weather would have been better to enjoy the beautiful grounds and fire pit and porch. We will definitely go back!

Quick trip for Round Top

We had an amazing stay at this home. The property owner was so accommodating and helpful. I got a text the day of check in that we could arrive earlier than the original check in time which was super nice. Everything about the property and details left by the owner were wonderful. Wonderful and quiet

We absolutely adored our couple nights at this place — it was so clean and well accommodated, cozy, and quiet! We loved just sitting outside with our coffees and also enjoyed the ping pong table. Everything was labeled, which was so helpful. We will 100% be returning for another stay here!

No Place Like Home

We traveled for a wedding and didn't want to try to wrangle 2 kids under 2 in a hotel, so we stayed at FBF. It is the closest thing to being home as possible. Every detail is well thought out, the place was clean and the owner was delightful to work with. Highly recommend!

My daughters and granddaughter had a wonderful night at the property. We wish had more time. Everything was immaculate. We had everything we needed and more!Coffee pot filled with water. A basket of snacks in the counter. Fresh eggs in the fridge. The pond and paddle boat was amazing. Lots of fun finds in the fairy trail. Everything in the listing was accurate and the check in and checkout process was great. I have saved the information so we can go back again!

Wonderful stay

The house it locate just outside Brenham. It is beautiful and well-maintained. The owners go above and beyond to welcome you. They provide ample snacks and label everything so that no drawer or switch is a mystery. They property is very private. We had a nice relaxing stay!

Wonderful hostess!!!

This property was wonderful! It was exactly as it appears...and better! You could tell the host went out of their way to make your stay as pleasant as possible. They provided a coffee bar, the remotes for everything were easy to find, it was BEYOND clean! There was wood for the fire pit and smoker, there were several sitting areas outside. They just went out of their way and it was greatly appreciated!

Suited us perfectly.

I’m an interior designer. My assistant and I flew in for the Round Top Annual Antique Fair. Our accommodations and location were ideal. The house is very clean and has everything you could need, labeled and easy to find. It was so nice to return to a real home after long hot, dusty days at the “show”. So much better than returning to a drab hotel room . Highly recommend!!

We drove in from Houston for “Hot Days Cool Nights” live music. This place was magnificent! Right outside of town, these city girls needed some nature! Enjoyed sitting out back AND they left fresh eggs in the frig. We will definitely be back!!!

Beautiful

The host of this property is great with communication and responsiveness. They provided so much. We really enjoyed have farm fresh eggs for breakfast. The pond is lovely and we caught a lot of fish everyday (catch and release). This was one of our best trips and the property owners helped make it that way. The house is nicely furnished and you can tell they really want the guests to feel at home.

Great country property just outside Brenham TX

Love the seclusion and outdoor amenities. Walked to the pond and enjoyed the sunset and bird life. Saw deer on the way back. Sweetly decorated home organized perfectly for ease of use. Extremely comfortable beds and bedding! These owners truly care to make you feel at home!
