Experience lake life in this waterfront home with a spacious screened-in porch providing beautiful lake views and a private pier. Feel at home sitting up to the kitchen gathering table next to a large picture window overlooking the lake. Our cottage is 900 square feet and is specifically set up for short-term rentals such as vacations, ND Football home games, local festivals, and events, or just a relaxing family getaway.
The yard is fenced in and you will have access to a private fire pit and screened-in porch. It is completely furnished and has two bedrooms that can accommodate six, with overflow sleeping an additional 2 if required. The kitchen and family room have new flooring and freshly painted. No smoking or pets are allowed. Enjoy the lazy days of summer and the brilliance of the upcoming fall foliage!

Cute quiet house! Washer and dryer on site, host came over to introduce himself and brought pastries! Covered parking on site, nice lake view, all appliances and necessities provided, didn’t need a thing! It was great and would definitely book again!

It was just simply amazing. The house was small but perfect for our little family. It had everything you can think of and the hosts are amazingly wonderful people. Anything we needed they were there to provide for us. My son broke his fishing pole and they let us borrow one of theirs. Just am amazing experience. We highly recommend it and will hopefully be back soon. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality!!!

Lake house stay

It was amazing! Bob and his wife were so welcoming and accommodating! The house was super clean and it came with a whole bunch of fun activities. We loved our stay and we will definitely be back.

Cute lil lake bungalow ♡ and the owner surprised us with the famous bear claws frow woodys. Me and my girls had an absolute lovely time. And are already talking about returning next year ♡

Cute, updated cottage. Everything we needed for 2 adults and a few nephews. So clean, and well stocked. Excellent, attentive hosts. Wonderful screened porch close to the lake. Lovely view. Plenty of toys for fun at the lake. Would definitely rent this place again.

Great get away property!

Our stay was a blast! We chose this home because our son was getting married and it was close to the venue, Lake of the Woods Conservation Club. When we arrived we found the house very clean and well organized. They had all of the towels we needed, bed clothes and they put additional bowls and spoons in the house because I was going to prepare some salads for the wedding. In 3 short days, Bob and Kari became part of our family. They are a great couple with your renting experience in mind, your entire stay. They went above and beyond, even taking wedding pictures for us from their pontoon. At one point, Bob was even in the water. Thank you Bob and Kari for giving us the gift of friendship and many great memories. We look forward to spending time in your home again. Because, after all, you have made it a home.

Great gem and outstanding hospitality!!! We can’t wait to go back!

From our first inquiry to the last day, all was beyond our expectations. The owners made us feel like family and made sure our every need was met. The house was very clean and cozy. The separate screened in porch was perfect with a beautiful view of the lake. Everything we needed was there! There was plenty of room for 4 adults and 2 children. Bob and Kari were extremely kind and considerate. It was obvious they wanted us to have a “one of a kind” experience. I work in a career where customer service and hospitality are number one. Bob and Kari did such a great job , they could teach seminars on how to treat people. The lake was perfect and we had lots of fun swimming and tubing. The little ones were able to swim in front of the cabin while we watched in and out of the water. I’m the Nana and can say my heart is full being able to give my kids and grandkids such a wonderful weekend. The pictures simply don’t do this gem of a place justice. Thank you Bob and Kari!! You will definitely see us again!

Total Hidden Gem - All Sports Lake w/ Great Sunsets!

Have rented this home multiple times.and will be back. Great for hanging by the lake with a group of friends or family. The home is always spotless, super clean, updated and stocked with everying one could need for time by the lake. The huge screen poarch by the lake is one of the best parts! Real vintage survivor, love the vibe, super cool place to hang out and have drinks, play cards, listen to music and watch the sunset. Lake of the Woods is a total hidden gem, perfect size for water skiing, tubing, jet ski or just hanging out at the sand bar without having to deal with a ton of boat traffic. People there are super friendly and fun. Loved using the kayaks for morning exercise. Breman has some cool small town spots nearby including Hooples bar dating back to the 1800's and incredible pizza at the Wooden Peel. Have been renting on VRBO for 10+ years, will say Bob & Carrie are the perfect hosts - totally attentive if needed and respectful of your privacy. 5 out of 5 stars all the way!

Everything you need

Cottage is very updated with everything you need and lots of extra little touches. Great linens, and kitchen ware. Screened in porch, with a fridge, is priceless for bugs and rain. Water has sandy bottom.

Just what we needed!

This is a very clean and updated property with everything you could possibly need. Love the screened room for relaxing! Unfortunate algal bloom while we were there. If you go for beach and swimming you will be disappointed. Everything else is great! Plan on eating in as there aren't any restaurants nearby. The kitchen has everything you need to make your meals and the table is at the window . . . so you can look at the lake while you enjoy your meal! Bob and Kari do a wonderful job with this little gem! Very comfortable! We will be back for sure!

Wonderful weekend on Lake of the Woods!

My family and I had a wonderful time at this Lake of the Woods Property. The pictures in the listing do not do it justice. The interior of the cottage is very nice, extremely clean, and stocked with anything you may need for a long weekend or even an extended stay. The highlight is the back yard and the water though. That's why you came to a lakehouse anyway, right? The screen room in the back is amazing for extending the evening, even if the bugs are out. The fenced in back yard is great for the little ones. We parked our 2 Jet Ski's at the dock, and rented the pontoon boat for a day. We had a blast. The owners are right next door, and are extremely helpful, often going way out of their way to ensure we had a good time. I highly recommend this property, and can't wait to go back again soon!

Wonderful!

We had a lovely time during our short stay! Bob and his wife were so accommodating to anything we needed, and are very nice people. The house was clean, and had everything and more that we needed as far as kitchen supplies, towels, bedding, etc. Communication was fast and we didn’t want for anything. Beautiful views, a huge screened in porch fully equipped with a fridge, lots of seating, and more. Highly recommend!

This is definitely a diamond in the rough. Do not let the exterior fool you. The interior is updated and beautiful. This is the perfect spot for a quiet relaxing weekend anytime of the year. The owners make sure that every need is taken care of for their visitors. A highly recommend this property.

You want Lakeside this is the place for you

Bob was a very gracious host. He even gave our party a boatride to see the whole lake. We will most certainly be back and hope this place is available. I imagine often times it will be booked.

Perfect cozy cottage right on the lake

Beautiful property right on the lake. Cute and clean house with the coziest screened in patio for the whole family to enjoy, you even get your own pier. We had an amazing time. You can grill, take a paddle boat, or have a campfire under the stars. Hosts are super friendly!!

Great get away!

Plenty of outside activities provided. Every thing you need inside. Plenty to do. Only an hour drive to outlet shopping, Lake Michigan beaches and other family activities.
