Great renovated rooms/apartments. Staff is friendly. Easy drive to St Moritz. The area has a few dining options around that were great and also some markets. There is also cross country skiing nearby if that is something you would like to do.

The apartment is located in an old hotel but the location & condition of the very large apartment was very good. Driving to all the villages in the Engandine was a beautiful experience. The location is excellent & many restaurants are available within 5 miles .

we were caught by surprise that we need to pay for the room clean service, and also pay for the clean towel refill. The exterior looks good, but the interior of the apartments is aged and need a renovation. Not quite what we expected for a 4-star hotel.

Time-Travel into a classic Epoch Hotel

What an experience! We all felt like we stepped into a time machine and stepped back 100 years into the early days of first class tourism in the Swiss Alps. Upon entry into the lobby, you are greeted by the wide stairs into the upper floors. Inviting confortable lounge areas everywhere. Original epoch memorabilia in every public room. Pictures of an era gone by, when tourism in the Alps was new and all this nestled into the most picturesque landscape of the Upper Engadine mountains, on the shore of Lake Silser. Maloja Palace is certified as CO2 neutral and it is reflected by many of the small details throughout the building. We had booked a studio appartment for a family of 3 and we were very happy how spacious it was. We had a good size living/dining room with a pullout bed for our daughter and a seperate large bedroom for us. The bathroom was large, with double sink, bidee, wc and tub/shower. The toiletries were plentyful and eco-branded. The kitchenette was sufficiently stocked and we had everything we needed. We very much appreciated the sauna/wellness area. There are two dry (Finnish) saunas and a Hamam steam room. The operating hours were 4-8pm. (This might be to the fact the we were in the hotel for the last week before closing until mid December. The "gym" is not much to write home about and could definately use a little more attention, but if you want to work out you have a room with some (very) basic equipment. The service was very friendly and helpful.

Wie immer war unser Aufenthalt fantastisch im Maloja Palace. Vom Check-in bis zur Abreise war alles perfekt. Die Freundlichkeit des Personals ist phaenomenal. Jederzeit hilfsbereit und unglaublich freundlich. Das Hotel ansich ist schon eine Reise wert. Jeder Aufenthalt ist eine Zeitreise in eine Epoche des Tourismus Anfang des letzten Jahrhunderts. Das Maloja Palace ist unser zweites Zuhause im Engadin geworden. Wir werden in Zukunft garantiert wieder dessen Gastfreundschaft geniessen. Danke Maloja Palaca

Tolle Lage und prächtiger Bau

Schöner Aufenthalt in geschichtsträchtigen Mauern, tolle Lage direkt bei der Loipe, Morgenbuffet hat noch Potenzial, Wichtigstes ist zwar vorhanden und es ist sauber, aber wenig Teeauswahl (z.B. kein Früchtetee) und schlecht präsentiert, gutes Rührei, aber kein Speck sondern Hackfleischbällchen oder ausgetrocknete Nuggets..., kaltes aufgeschnittenes Fleisch fehlt

Gran establecimiento pero requiere de atención en detalles como asegurar que las habitaciones cuenten con shampoo y jabón en los dispensadores. El bufete que se ofrece en la comida no justifica el precio que cobran, de ahí en fuera es una buena opción.

Good quality/value

Good quality/value ratio. Very friendly and helpful staff and clean rooms. Still some work to do in order to make it really sustainable (e.g ingredients provenience, high energy consuming devices in the rooms etc)

Een historisch hotel op een prachtige locatie. Een leuk detail zijn de oude affiches die overal in het hotel en de kamer hangen. Wij hadden en een appartement dat erg ruim was. Met een aparte keuken/woonkamer, een slaapkamer een ruime badkamer. De slaapkamer is in het midden waardoor deze heel rustig is. Heerlijk geslapen op goede bedden. De omgeving is fantastisch en je kunt mooie trips maken. Prettig is ook de ruime parkeergelegenheid bij het hotel (gratis). De voorzieningen in en rond het hotel zijn goed maar kan wel weer wat aandacht krijgen.

Schönes Hotel mit ursprünglichem Charakter

Sehr schönes Hotel dem aufgrund der sehr sanft durchgeführten Renovation, sehr viel vom ursprünglichen Charakter erhalten geblieben ist. Das uns im Clubhouse zugewiesene Appartment war ebenfalls sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sauber.

Magnifique et pratique

Très bel appartement tout en bois et bien agencé, très calme. Un très très bon accueil. Pour information, il faut se renseigner directement au club-house derrière le Majola Palace, où se trouve les appartements.

Bel hôtel près de tout.

Très bel hôtel près de St Moritz et des montagne, vue superbe. Le personnel était un peu froid et j'aurais aimé avoir des informations sur l'hôtel à mon arrivée. Chambre spacieuse et confortable mais oreiller qui laisse à désirer.

Nice building & surroundings but mediocre services

Consierge wasn't really helpfull. Couldn't get even a bottled water between 10-16 hrs, nor sauna access or anything else. No room cleaning during our 4 day stay even if we were charged 70CHF for it.
