Fresh rolls are available daily at the harbour, and a small supermarket is also within easy walking distance.
From the Breege harbour, you can take a leisurely trip to the neighbouring island of Hiddensee or to Ralswiek. This is where the famous “Störtebeker Festival” is held every year. With pyrotechnics, sword fights, and a fireworks display to cap it off, you’ll learn about the incredible storey of the pirate Klaus Störtebeker.
To the north of Breege, you’ll discover the famous Cape Arkona. The two lighthouses, in particular, give Cape Arkona a unique landscape. From the lighthouse’s observation deck, you can look out over the open sea and the beautiful landscape of northern Rügen from a height of over 70 metres.
