First thanks for coming out to stay with us we appreciate it. I did want to take a moment to educate you on Breckenridge as it's grossly ignorant to call us shady for not listing something about no ac on our listing as 90% or more of the properties do not have AC in Breck. You also conveniently left out that we do provide a portable cooling unit in the condo that is not advertised on the listing to keep the condo at a reasonable temp during the day being it cools to the 60s in the evening. This is how Breck was built and runs in general but you were unable to communicate or ask questions until you were upset you didn't operate the site correctly. Additionally, there is also a filter for searching properties with AC that had you selected at the time of your searches would have eliminated us from your options. Another opportunity missed to help yourself. We do not try to deceive our guests in anyway shape or form when booking or we would not be one of the most highly review properties in all of Breck. Additionally it was very clear that you could not be inconvenienced to read some emails prior to your arrival which is why we had to several calls from you on how to access the condo when you showed up early unannounced. We clearly communicated the whole process to you in several modes prior to your arrival and even notated that our resort was going through a lock change at the time of your arrival on all units. This did create a bit longer email for you to read by about 2 minutes so we apologize for the perceived inconvenience you encountered in that regard. Lastly, we also clearly communicated what we provide for guests long before they arrive. So, had you read that you would have known that we do not provide cooking essentials like spices because of the potential liability associated with contamination and tampering by guests. At the end of the day we would not recommend hosting this guest to other hosts due to their lack of communication and condescending attitude for their failures to read the materials given to them.

Parking is also charged year around in Breck because there is no where in Breckenridge to park for free overnight anywhere. Next, and maybe most importantly, we have our name, email, and phone number in the guide you reference, on every email we send, and expressly write that we are available to all guests via any mode of communication they choose. So, I am sorry that you felt we are unavailable to answer questions about our unit as we take great pride in answering the phone here at Salty Snow Properties. We will however take greater pride knowing that our newly released digital welcome guides were sufficient for your stay as we never did have any emails or calls from your family. Our HOA has branded themselves as the "Gateway to the Rockies." That being said we were concerned to read your review on the hot water as we were not made aware of this by yourself our HOA. I did do a little digging with our HOA and it just so happened that our building had a boiler issue that evening you checked in for your stay with us that evening unfortunately. We do sincerely apologize for this matter as we to were in the dark on this one. While things do break we do completely understand the inconvenience of luke warm water, and while we can't fix it now. I did want you to know what steps we have take to try and correct the matter going forward. We have asked our HOA to keep us better informed as hosts the next time this should happen so we can take better action to rectify the situation for our guests' if possible; even though the boiler was only off line for a few hours it does take time to replenish a building of our size. Please accept our sincerest apologies for the miscommunications of our team and know that we do have hot water 99.9% of the time in the building...if the boiler functions properly. Come see us again anytime as I mentioned in my voicemail as we would love the opportunity to try and earn a five star review and make things right for you. In terms of the parking fee we don't love them either but with limited parking all throughout town this is what our HOA charges unfortunately so it is a pass through fee for us. We do also encourage guests', as we did for you, to look at alternate options like shuttles or parking off site as they are slightly cheaper; as a care really isn't necessary at the property due to its great location to the Main St area and ski lifts during the season.
