The Lone Oak River Retreat on The San Bernard River - Fisherman's Paradise!

Beautiful Waterfront River House located directly on The San Bernard River. Excellent Fishing, Swimming, Kayaking or Boating all from the comfort of your dock! The Lone Oak River Retreat offers it all. This 2 bedroom 1 bathroom home comes fully appointed with everything you need to have a relaxing vacation. Bring your poles or use ours and enjoy night fishing under the green lights or just relax and enjoy the river views. There are crab traps available for guest to use as well. We have lots of outdoor games for the family to enjoy. Come play cornhole, darts, giant beer pong or use the 2 kayaks provided to guests to explore the river. At night enjoy smores around the fire pit.
Have your own boat? Bring it with you! The boat slip is right across the river from The Lone Oak.
Located 20 minutes from the beach and 40 minutes south of Houston.
Kayaks, Games, Fishing poles and Crabtraps are provided FREE for our guest to use during their stay. THERE IS NO WI-FI at The Lone Oak.

We love this place. This was our second visit. It's great for fishing and crabbing. The home is clean, and there are plenty of activities to do at the house (kayaking, games, cornhole, firepit, etc. It is a short drive to the beach, to stores, and good restaurants if you want to venture out. It's an hour away from Houston. NASA is a fun day trip. We highly recommend the Lone Oak River Retreat.

Beautiful home that was perfectly located on the river. The fishing was great & the host went above and beyond. They provided fishing equipment, kayaks, games, crab traps, a grill & a great view. The property was well kept & clean. Highly recommended!

Our stay was absolutely amazing!! The home was clean, well set up, bed's were very comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook all our meals. We thoroughly enjoyed the dock and had fun fishing. We were able to tie our boat to the dock easily even in low tide. The host was quick to respond to messages. We Very highly recommend this home and we hope to rebook in the future!!!
