It was a wonderful stay at Hotel no. 16. Me and my boyfriend have stayed there for 3 nights, it's a very short walk from the old town and the Bratislava Castle. Everyone who likes a comfortable bed, polite and lovely staff and being close to all the main attractions should go for this hotel. It's one of the nicest ones I've personally have been in so far.
Also, we had an accident and lost my engagement ring in the room. They have found it, contacted us and returned the ring, very appreciate their honesty and helpfulness.
Wirklich empfehlenswert!

Good but not perfect
Very good location, average room without windows, good breakfest.
I was worried about finding the hotel but it was well marked and in a gorgeous neighbourhood. It is very small, so be prepared for a B and B experience. I had to show the staff that breakfast was included in the booking.

Far away from centre and up a hill
The hotel is very old fashioned toilet was very small and had ants in it.The sink and toilet where so close together my partner had difficulty using toilet the shower had no water pressure. Beds were comfortable was suppose to be a double room but only had two single beds pushed together.
The hotel is set in a residential area about 15 minutes walk from the city centre. Both the hotel and rooms are furnished nicely and very clean. Reception staff were very helpful. One downside was that the allocated room was very small, much smaller than the 25 sqm advertised when booking.
Only a short walk to the centre of old town it's a great place to stay very friendly staff. The only problem I had was the wifi no matter where I was in the hotel it's wasn't a very good signal. But if you like me prefer to spend your nights exploring the bars and clubs of Bratislava then this is no problem. Enjoy your stay

This is NOT a hotel. Terrible experience.
This is NOT a hotel, despite the name and description on website. It is a guesthouse/B&B. There is no bar/lobby area. The door was locked when we arrived and when opened we weren't greeted in a welcoming manner. There is no minibar in the room (despite what the website says). We would not stay here again and considered just leaving and going to another hotel but we had paid for the stay in full before arrival (our mistake). The WiFi was terrible. We regretted staying here and wouldn't go back.
The receptionist was very friendly, a native to Bratislava. He offered us a free map of the city with easy walking directions into Old Town. There is a beautiful secluded garden in the backyard with good wifi and a koi pond. The hotel room had very comfortable beds and a nice big bath tub with free shampoo, shower gel, cotton pads and q-tips. The decorating was very cute and cozy. The only reason I give the room comfort 4 stars instead of 5 is because there was no air-conditioning. We visited in late-July, so it was very warm. Even still it was a wonderful place to lay our heads after adventuring around Bratislava. Highly recommended!
