STABBIN CABIN #2 BATHROOM:
There is no toilet or shower inside Stabbin Cabin #2.
The main bathroom and shower building is approximately 50 feet from the cabin entrance.
WATERFRONT GLAMPING ACCESS:
The glamping tent is reached by climbing exactly 10 outdoor steps from the waterfront path and dock.
GLAMPING CONVENIENCE TOILET:
A standard flush convenience toilet is located outside the tent.
It is reserved exclusively for your combined group and is surrounded by a privacy curtain.
It is intended for urination only.
No toilet paper, wipes, sanitary products, solid waste or other material may be flushed through it.
GLAMPING MAIN BATHROOM ROUTE:
The main bathroom building is approximately 200 feet from the tent.
Reaching it requires:
• Descending the 10 tent-access steps
• Following an outdoor waterfront path
• Walking uphill
• Climbing exactly 28 additional steps
MAIN BATHROOM CONFIGURATION:
The building has:
• One toilet-and-sink room with its own entrance
• One separate shower room with its own entrance

The building may be shared with guests staying in Stabbin Cabin #1 and The Floater.

Certain accommodations, docks, hot tubs and marked areas remain private to other guests or management.

The Neighborhood:
Grant Island is a privately owned 1.4-acre island on public Brantingham Lake in the Adirondacks.
This reservation combines a romantic lake-view cabin with a furnished waterfront glamping tent for a total of up to five guests.
Your group receives private use of both accommodations and their designated private-use areas, including:
• Stabbin Cabin #2 balcony
• Waterfront Glamping deck
• Glamping dock
• Glamping seating and BBQ area
• Glamping convenience toilet
• Dedicated electric jon boat
Brantingham Lake itself is public. Other residents, property owners and recreational boaters may be on the water.
Grant Island also has other separately booked accommodations and a management residence. Other guests and management may be present elsewhere on the island.
The lake is known for boating, fishing, swimming, loons, wildlife, sunsets and stargazing.
On the nearby mainland, guests will find restaurants, bars, a local general store and seasonal recreation.
The surrounding Adirondack and Tug Hill region offers hiking, state parks, horseback riding, wineries and other outdoor activities.
Because Grant Island is accessed by boat, bring the food, beverages, clothing, medication and personal supplies your group expects to need.
Getting Around:
You do not need to own a boat to stay on Grant Island.
MAINLAND ARRIVAL:
Parking for two vehicles is included at the designated mainland parking area.
We meet your group there, help load your belongings and bring you to Grant Island in our pontoon boat.
The boat ride generally takes approximately 5 minutes.
BOAT ORIENTATION:
After arriving, approved operators receive an orientation covering:
• Electric-boat controls
• Docking procedures
• Passenger and loading limits
• Operating boundaries
• Navigation lights
• Life jackets and flotation requirements
• Charging procedures
• After-dark guidance
• Safety and emergency procedures
Every motorized-boat operator must be at least 18.
DEDICATED GLAMPING BOAT:
The Waterfront Glamping electric jon boat is reserved for your combined group.
It may be used for:
• Transportation between the mainland and Grant Island
• Fishing
• Leisurely lake exploring
• Enjoying Brantingham Lake
ADDITIONAL ELECTRIC BOATS:
Your group also has access to:
• One 6-seat electric boat
• One rowboat with an electric motor and oars
These two boats remain shared with Stabbin Cabin #1 guests when that cabin is occupied.
After-dark boat operation is allowed only when required navigation lights are working and proper flotation devices are worn. Guests must bring a working flashlight and must remain visible to other potential nighttime boaters.
If a boat is used after dark, required navigation lights must be functioning and proper flotation devices must be worn.
PONTOON TRANSPORTATION:
If your group does not want to operate an electric boat, management remains available to provide pontoon transportation between the island and mainland.
INCLUDED PADDLE WATERCRAFT:
• Canoe access
• Pedal boat access
These may be shared with other guests and remain subject to availability and safe conditions.
ON-ISLAND MOVEMENT:
Movement around Grant Island is primarily on foot.
The glamping tent requires climbing exactly 10 outdoor steps from the waterfront path.
Traveling from the glamping tent to the main bathroom requires descending those 10 steps and climbing exactly 28 additional steps uphill.
The bathroom for Stabbin Cabin #2 is approximately 50 feet from the cabin.
PARKING:
Two mainland vehicles are included.
A third vehicle or trailer requires advance approval and may carry an additional parking fee.
A trailer counts as a vehicle.
Do not arrive with an additional vehicle or trailer unless it has been approved.

We meet your group at the mainland parking area, help load your belongings and bring you to Grant Island in our pontoon boat.
