"A very old and even historic hotel lacking a lot of the amenities which I understand no TV in every room no air conditioning obviously no elevator which is kind of tough if you’re carrying large amount of luggage up three floors. Rooms are very small which is typical due to the historic cage I’m not sure if I would stay here again I wanted to do some work in the room at night but the roads were just way too small no desk etc. there are other places around inlet old Forge which have much better accommodations"

"We had an excellent stay at Great Pines. Beautiful scenery right on Fourth Lake, and Snowmobile access. The only negative of this property is the unreliability of the on site restaurant. It seems to be rarely open"

"Everything was great. House is nice and plenty of room. Kitchen had good accessories. There were 9 of us. Plenty of room. See were there to snowmobile. Great access to trails. "

"Beautiful home and our family had a great time. There were 13 of us and the provided plenty of room to spread out. Brad was very responsive when I let him know about a leak . We've rented another property in Old Forge in the past, but Timber lodge was far superior for comfort, cleanliness and overall experience. We will definitely rent again!"

"Affordable , secluded, beautiful cottage with everything you need! Twenty min drive from town. Definitely a change for my family with a weekend away from the internet but was much needed! Snowmobiling trails right from the cottage were amazing. Aside from the fact my 2up caught on fire, Dan and Carol were amazing through it all. Very welcoming, caring, and made my family feel at ease through the chaos! We were so glad to have a charming cottage to come back to! We cannot wait to stay again, this time for ATV riding! "

"Great spot to be close to town. We were able to cook meals and watch tv when we weren’t visiting town or hiking. Jason is very responsive and made it very easy to stay there. The temps dropped below zero and the house was perfectly toasty. Although they supply sheets and towels, etc., I’d advise bringing your own. Along with blankets and pillows. We brought our own and glad because I didn’t see any pillow cases. All in all, I’d recommend. It fulfills basic needs for a quick stay. We were there 3 nights. "
