Room was tiny, but the bathroom was big. Definitely get what you pay for but it was great for what we needed. Virtual check in was a bit weird if you've never done it before but it was quick and easy. Check out was a breeze. There is an overnight parking lot right around the corner and it is $35 for the night. Check out time is 11am and you can park there until 11am as well so that was great! Just minutes from the Hollywood walk of fame and stores are right around the corner as well! Definitlwy will be staying here again!

The I-5 corridor in northern California can be pretty bleak in the summer months, but you can still find an oasis here and there. This one is west of Redding, maybe about a half-hour off the Interstate. Drive west on highway 299, past Whiskytown Lake and look for a sign for Crystal Creek. This multi-tiered waterfall surrounded in green is just the thing! TRAVEL TIP: Have a long, overnight flight coming up? Check out the various travel pillows that let you lean forward and plant your face into them! I used one on my last trip to India, and was amazed at how well I slept! #California #waterfall #escape #lifeatexpedia
