Incredible Event Venue

We hosted our wedding here and we’re able to fit our whole wedding party comfortably. The hosts are so welcoming and helpful, quick to help with anything needed, and so sweet. Our party agrees, we will all be back!

Absolutely amazing

I reserved the location because all came from the country. Was so excited for the new Cabanas and having so many activities for us to do and since we rented the entire place we decided it would be a great place for my Sister to get married at the retreat 💕. Everything was a hit. The host are fabulous. You will definitely will not be disappointed with there hospitality, the amenities and property

Great getaway!

Our family of four truly enjoyed our weekend at this great getaway. We are city folk, so we appreciated the attention to detail they provide in the accommodations, while providing a good outdoor country experience.

Beautiful place!!

We rented the property for the weekend to hold a vow renewal. We were able to enjoy the place the night before and after the event. We loved fishing and the kids loved the pool. The loft/cabin has everything you could need from coffee and creamer to bathroom necessities. We were able to talk to the owners a couple times as well and they were very nice and accommodating. My family will definitely be back!!

Amazing Property!!

Such a fun place

We had a family reunion this past weekend at the Tipsy Toad. Our group ranged in ages from 1 to young looking seniors. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed our stay. Honestly, we were worried that it would be too hot outside to do much, but we were outside a lot. We had plenty of shade and just enough wind to keep us comfortable. The pond has a lot of fish in it and there was a lot of catching going on. The two-story deck over the pond was nice for the older ones to jump from a bouncy diving board. A competition was supposed to happen, but it may have been all talk! However, in the swimming pool, there was a fierce volleyball competition. We even had a line judge and a net judge. The net judge may or may not have moved the net at times. The sleeping accommodations were great. Beds and pillows were top of the line. Each room has its own air conditioner and ceiling fan. We were very comfortable. The covered deck off the loft was used a lot in both the mornings and the afternoons. The showers are huge! Our family was the first family to stay in the Cabanas. The ones that stayed in those rooms were very happy with their accommodations. We didn’t get to sit around the fire pit except on the first night. That was a great time to catch up with family. We didn’t have time to enjoy all the outdoor areas or play any of the yard games. The hosts were fantastic, and they have anticipated all your needs. They have created a great place to be enjoyed by your group.

Great property!

The property was very nice and clean. They really paid attention to providing all the little things you may have forgotten. Pool was great for all ages. We had so much fun fishing from the dock and my son caught a big one and it made his day!

Perfect Family Getaway

This was a perfect getaway for our family on the HOTTEST weekend in a long time! Kathy and Laurell made sure we had everything we needed. Seriously, they have thought of EVERYTHING! The barndo and cabin were both clean and comfortable. We enjoyed swimming in the pond to cool off. It is obvious that the owners take pride in keeping everything clean and well maintained. The water was cold and clear. Paddle boats, paddle boards, and floats were an added bonus! The swimming pool is just beautiful. We had such a good time and plan to return with the grandkids soon.

Weekend Trip With The Boys!

We had an excellent time during our stay at the Tipsy Toad Retreat! The atmosphere was amazing - we were looking for somewhere with a country feel, but not too far from the city - this location delivered. We enjoyed swimming, fishing, grilling, and spending time by the fire pit! The hosts were exceptional and willing to help with whatever we needed. We are already talking about returning next year! Thank you!!!

absolutely amazing venue!

we had a great time! so many things to do on the property, the owners were SO sweet and very easy to communicate with. Had my wedding in the gazebo and everyone had so much fun were planning on visiting annually as a family reunion! 10/10 recommend. plus the tipsy toad was sooo clean and modern it was definately a mini vacation just to hang out up stairs.

School Camping Trip

What a way to end the end of the 2022 school year is right around the corner.This facility is tremendous. Swimming, Fishing, Paddle Boats and Stand Up Paddle Board, Grilles and plenty of room for tents and room to run. Such a Beautiful location where they thought of everything. Couldn’t have ask for more accommodating host. We can’t wait to come back. Thank You!

The perfect relaxing get away.

This was a perfect country getaway! The pond had great fishing. The swimming pool was beautiful. The hot tub was so relaxing. To top it all off the host was fantastic. Attentive to every need, but not overbearing. The chickens, pheasants, guard donkeys (yes..really), and fire pits make this a spot like no other. Sleep at ease and wake up to morning coffee on the the balcony. So much fun! We will be back!

Conner's Wedding

We had a fantastic time. The accommodations were in great condition. Everything was well stocked and they had some of the largest showers from all the properties we have visited. The grandkids had the best time riding their jeeps (Walmart 12volt), fishing and feeding the donkeys and goats. It would be a great place for families just wanting to get away and spend time together. We will definitely go back in the summer.

Exceptional hosts

Layout of the property is every country persons dream. Quiet place out of the city. Hosts were very accommodating and friendly. They handled all of our request with a kind and courteous attitude.
