The street getting to this place is very rural and tight with no lights and we quickly realized that it would have been impossible for us to drive in and out of it easily at night. "We loved this house so much. We had plenty of room to spread out, and the screened in porch overlooking the lake was heaven. It was so nice to be so close to the water and for the path down to the dock to be paved for easier walking. The location is great for easy access to both Hiawassee and Hayesville. Lastly, the games and puzzles closet next to the kitchen was a pleasant surprise that my girls absolutely loved!"

"Our stay at this cottage was perfect. Catching the morning fog over the lake & the view was so peaceful. The amenities were excellent. I brought my mini frother but she even had that.. we weren’t in need of anything. Perfect size for a couple or a couple with small children. Only 2 miles from the fairgrounds where we went for the festival but also so close to many other sites. Very pet friendly, Bella approved. We also had a rainbow one night. I would highly recommend this cute little cottage and this host. I don’t always give 5 stars, but this deserved it."

"This property was even better than the pictures showed. Everything was squeaky clean and it is well furnished throughout. There were many special amenities that made our stay perfect. The balcony had comfortable furniture for looking out over the beautiful lake and mountains. The host was very responsive to any questions we had. We were in Hiawassee for the Dailey and Vincent Music Festival and we were less than 15 minutes from the Fair Grounds. We hope to stay there next year as well!"

"This was probably the cleanest and best equipped cabin that I have ever rented. The area was quiet with very little traffic and noise, which is exactly what I wanted. Everything worked like it was supposed to, WIFI, TV, AC. Kitchen was well equipped and needed nothing. Front door has a combo code that you get when you check in, so that was easy. Thanks for a great stay."
