"About R7,300 (£64) a night for two inc excellent bespoke breakfast and buffet, via Hotels.com. Immaculate hotel in upmarket, but convenient area. Part of the Sarovar chain. Ir doesn’t have the historic feel the blurb alludes to, but it nonetheless does feel quite special. Uniformed staff greet one as you enter and leave. Lovely decor throughout. Rooms are first class: spacious and very well appointed. This would be several hundred pounds a night in Europe. "

"Fortune Park BBD: The Best of Our Trip (5/5 Stars)
Our stay at Fortune Park BBD in Lucknow was simply flawless and has been the best hotel experience on our trip so far. This is an excellent, new, and modern property that feels very well-maintained.
The accommodation was superb: the rooms were spacious, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable. We found no faults whatsoever with the physical amenities or the quiet ambiance of the hotel. The slightly out-of-city location provides a welcome peaceful retreat.
The dining was highly impressive. The food was very nice, and the breakfast buffet offered a great variety of choices. The service in the restaurant was prompt, and the waiters were particularly helpful, making every meal a pleasant experience.
Above all, the staff’s professionalism and helpfulness were outstanding. Every member of the team, from the front desk to the housekeeping, was attentive and courteous, delivering consistently great service.
I wholeheartedly recommend Fortune Park BBD to anyone visiting Lucknow who prioritizes modern facilities, spacious comfort, and truly outstanding service."
"The cleanliness was good. The only slight letdown was the food and breakfast, which was just average and could use some improvement. Despite the food, I had a very comfortable stay and would recommend it, especially for the prime location and quality of the property"

"Don't trust other reviews... Expedia needs to vet its listings more thoroughly.
Rooms look decent but hide old cracks and the smell of fungus. We got an extra bed and both the base and mattress were of poor quality.
The staff acts confused and lazy. It took us a lot of instructions for basic stuff like toiletries and cleaning.
They haven't bothered to replace old equipment at the diner - my father almost got a first-degree burn when a milk pot with a broken handle fell. And it took them 30m to clean the spill!
We decided to complain to the manager, who was courteous enough to acknowledge everything. But the reception stalled us for 12 hours..."
