Great rural getaway

Weekend Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at your cozy and lovely home. It offered privacy and ambience for the perfect weekend getaway. The updated kitchen and bathroom were well appointed and the outdoor area with fire pit and covered porches oozed rustic coziness. We definitely would stay here again when available.

Quaint Little Getaway

We truly enjoyed our stay here over the Labor Day Weekend. If you are looking for a lovely vacation in the woods in a quaint, but upscale log cabin with great modern amenities and an attention to detail that is not fully captured by the photos, this is your place. We are already talking about planning a trip to come back as we were highly impressed by every aspect of our stay.

Thanksgiving getaway

This was a perfect place to celebrate Thanksgiving with my young adult children. We had all the pots and pans needed to prepare our own favorite meals. I made reservations at Fallingwater back in July so we could enjoy a lovely drive over there this weekend as well.

Very peaceful! We enjoyed our anniversary trip tremendously and we’re very impressed that we didn’t need a lot of what we anticipated to make our meals. Had a blast playing games and getting off our screens for a few days!

This cabin is cozy and clean. It is the perfect mix of old and new. This log cabin has been beautifully updated while keeping the charm of the original cabin. The hosts have thought of everything from the blanket on the front porch swing to the albums for the record player. The game room is stocked with cards, games and a dart board. The location is secluded and peaceful. Perfect getaway!

Private Wooded Setting

This cabin was the perfect place for a little couples R & R! We stayed 2 nights over Valentine's Day weekend and even in the cold and snow the creek was bubbling happily. I would love to see this space in the spring/summer to get a real feel for the property! We battled snow and freezing rain on Saturday to go antiquing (thank you to Laura for leaving a snow shovel on the front porch). Made a few purchase and enjoyed apple dumplings from The Pie Shoppe. Highly recommended for peace and quite with your significant other.

Beautiful setting.

Our goal was snowshoeing and snow hiking. The location offered us access to many different options. After a full day of exercise, the cabin was a perfect place to relax. The outdoor porches were great spots to sit and reflect on the day. The decor was interesting and beautiful. Cleanliness was top notch. Beds were super comfortable. Host was very responsive.

Peaceful and Awesome

I had a girls weekend with my 2 sister-in-laws and it was wonderful. We all loved the cabin. It was so clean and absolutely took my breath away. I could see the love put in to that cabin for people to enjoy. Sitting on the front porch was so relaxing and peaceful. We will be coming back to stay again.
