Excellent location close to Piazza San Marco. A store with some basic groceries is 2 doors down. The breakfast in the morning was good, and offered a variety of items. Also, the staff were quite helpful when you needed it.
My only real complaint is that the basic rooms are about half the size of a regular hotel room. One person would do fine in them, or if you only have check in size luggage, but there isn't much room to put your bags if you have 2 pieces of larger luggage. It is something to be aware of before booking. With the price, you are definitely paying for the location.

No AC. We needed it to sleep. We have a few mosquitoes. We could not open the windows
The entrance of the room smelled really badly, spoiled, like a sewer

Centrally placed, lovely Hotel, yes it is a bit old fashioned, but it is quite charming. Amazing friendly staff! Nice Restaurants nearby, especially in the nearby Plaza, tucked in the corner, great food!

The check in process was perfect, they even let us in before noon, which was perfect. The area is not great, nothing within walking distance, you need a car to moce around. The room was fine, but the barhroom was small.
