    Our flat, which we will be renting out from 1 February 2022, is located in our well-kept residential complex.

    The holiday flats are within walking distance of the train station in a quiet and central location. They are about 5 minutes from the beach and the pedestrian zone. The holiday apartments can be easily reached by car. A parking space for your car is reserved for you. Bicycles can be hired in the immediate vicinity and there is a supermarket opposite the tranquil residential complex where fresh bread rolls from the island bakery can be pre-ordered. A bus stop for exploring the island is right next to the apartment complex.

    It is comfortably furnished and has a living room with adjoining kitchenette and terrace, a bathroom with shower and a bedroom with double bed. A separate entrance with a small hallway leads to the ground-floor, step-free flat. The flat is furnished to a high standard with pine furniture and invites you to linger even on rainy days. There is a beach chair on the sun terrace where you can make yourself comfortable. A garden table and chairs are of course also available.

    A grocery shop with a fruit and vegetable counter and a fresh bread roll service is within walking distance, and the bus stop to Ostland and the harbour is also right next to our apartment complex. A private car park for each apartment and a lockable bicycle garage, also suitable for charging e-bikes, as well as a small playground are available to our guests. The largest of the seven East Frisian islands, Borkum, is just a few minutes' walk from the main beach and the pedestrian zone. Situated at the most north-westerly point of Germany, the island covers almost 31 km2. Situated north of the Ems estuary, Borkum is almost 30 kilometres from the German mainland and is the only island (with the exception of Helgoland) to have an offshore climate. It is never too hot or too cold here and yet every day is different. The island offers a good mixture of a relaxing holiday and a vibrant small town and every guest will find the ideal place here to relax and unwind, and it is not for nothing that Borkum is known as the "island of my dreams". Anyone who has been here once is sure to come again. In addition to endless natural sandy beaches where only the horizon stands in the way of the sunset, Borkum is famous for its 130 kilometres of hiking and cycling trails across the island, which lead through countless chains of dunes, idyllic forests and long paths in the middle of a secluded island landscape.

    Boat trips, steam locomotive and railcar rides, island and nostalgia bus tours, the Borkumriff fireship, the tidal land on Borkum and much more attract visitors to excursions of all kinds.
