Baita Tersilia Near Lake And Mountain Veneto

Immersed in the still unspoiled nature of the Belluno Dolomites, this mountain hut from the late 1800s has recently been completely renovated and while maintaining its original appearance through the use of wood and stone, it has been equipped with all modern comforts.
The chalet is 50 meters from the owner's hotel, where you can have free access to the wellness center and relax between a Finnish sauna and a hay bath. Also waiting for you outside is the tub in which to soak while admiring the splendid view of the Belluno Dolomites, or the relaxation area in which to relax and read a good book. At your disposal, free of charge, 2 e-bikes to explore the wonderful surroundings. Breakfast is included in the morning upon request, and it is also possible to arrange dinner on site with the owner for an additional fee.

We are at an altitude of 780 meters and surrounded by meadows and forests. From here you can set off on endless hikes or bike rides, following itineraries for mountain biking or Nordic walking ( of which the owner is an instructor).
But the lodge will also be your starting point to visit the most beautiful Dolomites in the province of Belluno (just over an hour away are the Marmolada and Civetta), the Bellunese Pre-Alps, the wonderful historic villages, such as Mel (12 km) or Cison di Valmarino (18 km) and the beautiful Venetian cities of art ( Belluno, 20 km, , Treviso, 60 km, Venice , Padua and Vicenza, 100 km).

This is also the realm of sportsmen in all seasons: biking, hiking, windsurfing and kitesurfing at Santa Croce Lake (30 km), kayaking and canyoning in the many streams that creep between the rocks, and hang gliding and paragliding, taking off from the Serva and Dolada mountains; bowling in the sandy field near the house. In winter, on the other hand, you'll have the chance to ski on nearby Nevegal (16 km), or in one of the various ski resorts in the Dolomites, reachable within an hour's drive.

In the garden, dedicated only to guests, a nice table around which to dine. And, when the desire to cook should be lacking, just cross the street to enjoy one of the hut's specialties.

It is necessary to have your own vehicle to get around.
For safety reasons, it is FORBIDDEN to recharge your car through the house's regular power supply.

The house has two floors connected by a wooden staircase.

On the ground floor:

- the kitchen , the dining room with a second kitchen a il larin (a hearth around which to sit and talk about the day), a bathroom with shower and a bedroom.

Going up the wooden staircase

- on the landing is the second spacious bathroom with shower and infrared sauna
- while on the first floor there is a double bedroom and a suite consisting of two rooms (one double and a living room with sofa bed + bathroom with shower).
