This cottage enjoys a quiet and secluded location in nature, it awaits its guests in the middle of Öland with a beautiful view of fields and forest. Here you can experience a hiking vacation, passing many berries and edible mushrooms that you can collect and pick. You are on vacation in a historical area. Skedemossen, located a few hundred meters from the house, was used as an important religious site from the 4th century and in the Viking Age. In the 1960's the largest gold treasure in Sweden to date was found here, as well as a good number of weapons. A few kilometers from the house you can learn more in Skedemosse Museum, it is open daily. In this place wellness and an oil brewery offer additional relaxation. You should not miss the other sights of Öland: Borgholm castle, Solliden, Gråborg refuge and Eketorp, which dates back to the 6th century. Many artists have also settled on the island, they invite you to visit them with open studios. Families can visit Öland's animal and amusement park. In the north of the island grows the magical troll forest. If you are a golfer, you will find golf courses all over the island.
