Casa Antelao is a historic building dating from 1827, conservatively renovated, located in the heart of the Dolomites, between the Pelmo and Antelao mountains. This large and functional housing solution, of over 100 square meters, is the ideal choice for families or groups of up to six people who want to live an authentic experience in the Cadore mountains for an unforgettable stay.

The house is located along the Alemagna road, just 2 km from San Vito di Cadore and 12 km from Cortina, where the last Winter Olympics were held. It is ideal for hikers who on foot, without moving their car, can access, right in front of the house, the famous “long road of the Dolomites” pedestrian and cycle path created from the old railway line that leads to Cortina.

And it is also perfect for those who want to reach the ski and ski lifts of Cortina by bus, since the ski bus stop is practically in front of the house itself. The Cortina Express bus that connects Venice with Cortina also stops there.

Finally, just a few minutes away is the most beautiful Spa del Cadore, Corte Spa with a swimming pool overlooking Monte Pelmo.

The house has a suggestive double bedroom with a wall covered with ancient 18th century tables that overlooks an old town fountain; a large second bedroom equipped with a wooden bunk bed and finally another two beds in the spectacular attic with exposed beams, overlooking the Antelao.

The living room on the ground floor represents the beating heart of the house, a stube entirely covered with pine wood paneling, where you can relax after days spent skiing in Cortina or on the trails of the Dolomites. The separate kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances: a large fridge, a practical oven, coffee maker, kettle and dishwasher. Two bathrooms, one on the ground floor with a washer-dryer and one on the night floor, complete the equipment of the spaces, ensuring comfort and functionality even for groups of up to 6 people.

The house offers services designed for the comfort of every type of guest throughout the year. Equipped with Wi-Fi connection, heating system with the latest generation boiler, the living area also has a cozy wood stove, ideal for snuggling up on two sofas on winter evenings. The washing machine allows you to conveniently manage the change of clothes, particularly useful after sports activities.

Finally, the house has a convenient public car park right in front of the entrance and a large cellar, as a storage room for boots, pedules, skis, snowboards and even bikes: an exclusive service that allows you to safely store your sports equipment, keeping it dry and ready for descents on the ski slopes and excursions in the Dolomites.

Due to its street position, the house is not particularly suitable for those who sleep lightly or are looking for absolute silence.

Borca di Cadore is one of the most fascinating places in the Dolomite territory, immersed in a mountain landscape of extraordinary beauty. The strategic position of the house allows you to easily reach the ski facilities during the winter and the hiking trails in the summer months, while the town center, a few steps from the house, houses services, restaurants, supermarkets, ski and bike rentals and local activities that keep the mountain tradition alive. It is the ideal location for families with children who seek tranquility but also adventures immersed in nature. But it is also perfect for winter or summer mountain sports enthusiasts and also for those looking for the charm and exclusivity of the glamorous Cortina.
The reservation will be considered confirmed only when the contract is signed, which includes all the conditions and details of the stay.

City Tax: € 1,50 per person per night to pay at check-in for a maximum of 5 nights

House Rules
The apartment can only be occupied by registered guests at the time of booking.
It is recommended to take the utmost care of the furniture, appliances and all equipment in the accommodation.
At the entrance of the house it is required to remove your shoes, in order to preserve the cleanliness and good condition of the rooms.
Before leaving the apartment, always check that lights, appliances and stoves are turned off.
We also invite you to use electricity responsibly and sparingly, avoiding waste and leaving unnecessary appliances or lighting on.
If the stove is used, special care must be taken during ignition and operation. For safety reasons, the stove must always be turned off during the night and when the house remains unattended.
The wood provided for the stove can be used freely during the stay; however, the amount consumed must be replenished before departure.
It is mandatory to carry out separate waste collection during your stay. The waste disposal bins are located in front of the warehouse. We ask you to respect local guidelines for the proper separation of waste.
Do not leave waste inside the apartment at the end of your stay.
It is forbidden to move furniture and furnishings without prior authorization.
Any damage, failure or malfunction must be notified promptly to the owner or the personnel in charge.
It is recommended that you close doors and windows carefully every time you leave the apartment.
An external staircase is available to access the cellar; however, in case of ice or conditions that may make it slippery, it is mandatory to use the alternative route from the road side.
The keys to the warehouse must be stored according to the instructions provided by the staff before departure.
Check-out must be done within the agreed time, so as to allow cleaning and preparation of the accommodation for subsequent guests.

According to Italian law (Art. 109 TULPS), it is mandatory to show the identity documents (passport or identity card) of all guests upon check-in for transmission to the Public Security authorities. In case of refusal, it will not be legally possible to check in. In addition, you will be required to sign a contract, as required by Italian law.
