Tiny House with New River View 15 Minutes from Boone!

Located 15 minutes from the heart of Boone and overlooking the New River, this custom-built tiny house on wheels offers guests an affordable and unique High Country escape. Designed and built by experienced hosts who are nearby if you need anything, "Tiny 2" (because it's the second one we've opened up to short-term guests) is the perfect place for couples and families to make lasting mountain memories.

Outdoor enthusiasts will love the proximity to the river and outfitters like RiverGirl Fishing Co. Jog, walk, or bike by the river on Railroad Grade Road, float or kayak the clear water, or catch dinner in this hatchery-supported stretch of the world's second oldest river.

Stay in and cook in a kitchen equipped with granite counters, farmhouse sink, and gas appliances and then stream your favorite shows on the smart TV, or take the short drive to Boone and enjoy the thriving local restaurant and craft brewery scene. The Blue Ridge Parkway, Tweetsie, Blowing Rock, and the Jeffersons are also just a short drive away.

The tiny house, which can accommodate four guests, has a queen, pillow-top mattress in the loft (accessed by steps--no ladder) and a full sleeper sofa in the living area. The 40-inch shower is clad in roofing metal, and the spacious bathroom features a vanity mirror that pulls out so you can get ready for your closeup. Lots of windows and can lights throughout make it light and bright as you relax and catch up on your vacation reading.

Come give tiny living a try!

10/10 Tiny Mansion
10/10 Would Book Again! We loved this tiny mansion and our pup did too, every detail was adorable and functional. We used the existing wall hooks to hang a privacy blanket over the larger window, though it is probably not necessary for privacy, but made us feel better. Beautiful area and perfect little place to stay, big enough for our large dog crate and packs.

Wonderful for us
We’ve always wanted the chance to stay in a tiny house. The location was quiet with beautiful scenery along the New River. Our weekend was going to be busy with hiking and visiting family, so we knew no matter where we stayed it would be just to sleep. It was comfortable with the amenities we needed for the price. We brought both our dogs who also enjoyed their time there. It was relaxing listening to the rain while falling asleep. If you’re looking for a quaint spot, this is it.

Tiny house, big fun
First time in a tiny house so first you figure where your things go. Then it was just more fun being in it. There was a great view of a river across the street to walk along. Also a table and chairs on the front porch to eat on and watch stars. There was also a grill and fire pit. Close to the town of Boone and tons of hikes at every level. Looking forward to staying there again.
