Staff was very courteous. Hotel is very clean and comfortable although the room is quite small.
The main issue has to do with finding the boutique hotel in a small street and parking, even temporarily, to unload your car. The hotel parking is an extra charge but, it is quite a walk from the hotel.
If I had travelled without a car, I probably would not have been inconvenienced as much.
But, as I said the room was very clean and staff very helpful.

We didn't realize there were stairs. That was the only drawback. It would be lovely for younger people. We did use the pharmacy and small grocery nearby

Hotel de Normandie was a great hotel right in the centre of the city and a two minute walk from the riverside. I did not have breakfast here but the hotel room I stayed in was quite confortable and was clean. I had a nice city view also.

The Ibis Meriadeck is ideally located near the Palais de Justice tramstop for the centre. Staff were very friendly and accomodating. The breakfast was excellent and the dinner menu varied and of excellent quality. I would highly recommend staying in the Ibis.
